One Piece have their fair share of powerful swordsmen, and as is the case with most top-tier fighters, using strong Haki is as necessary as honing swordsmanship. Of course some swordsmen in One Piece have immense skill when it comes to the art of the blade, but others have stronger Haki. Given that many of the top tiers in One Piece world uses a blade, Oda has given fans a good look at some monstrous powerful Haki-wielding swordsmen. Fans have already seen some of them in a room, while others have been heavily hinted at by the story of One Piece.
Shamrock Figarland
Shamrock Figarland was recently revealed in Elbaf, and to the shock of many fans, he is Shank's secret twin brother. Unfortunately, Shamrock left Elbaf, so it will probably be a while before he is seen in full action. Still, is Shank's brother and the captain of the Holy Knightsit is a given that Shamrock Figarland is very powerful. He wields a blade called Cerberus, and his powers are depicted as surpassing Loki's, with impressive Haki.
Garling Figarland
Garling Figarland is the father of Yonko Shanks and Holy Knight Shamrock. Garling, although previously only a Holy Knight, has since been promoted to Gorosei, following the events of Egghead. Fans have yet to see Garling go all out, but he must have grown tremendously since the events of God Valley. He wields a powerful blade, and his Haki was strong enough to see him compete with Rocks, though he lost horribly.
Dracule Mihawk
Mihawk is known as the world's strongest swordsman. This is quite a prestigious title, and one that many other swordsmen want to take by defeating him. Mihawk's time to shine has yet to come in One Piece, so it's hard to say how strong his Haki really is. But knowing that his top class sword Yoru is blackened, this could only point to a huge Haki. Mihawk certainly uses all types of Haki, with advanced Conqueror's Haki a guarantee for him. His duels with Shanks make him almost as strong, but while he has better swordsmanship, Shanks has better Haki.
Ethan Baron V. Nusjuro
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is one of the five eldersand definitely one that has stood out among the oldest for fans. For a while, Nusjuro was the only swordsman in Gorosei, until Garling Figarland was included. Still, Nusjuro is very skilled with the sword, especially since he uses the Shodai Kitetsu. He used his amazing Haki in Egghead on several occasions, and on top of that, fans also saw him easily clash with Zoro, who was powered by Jinbe.
Kozuki Oden
Kozuki Oden was one of the highlights of the Wano arc. Fans quickly came to love Odin's character throughout the arc. After first traveling with Whitebeard, Odin then continued with the Roger Pirates. Through his flashback, fans saw him clash with many powerful individuals, including Roger and Whitebeard. When he returned to Wano, he was an elite pirate, many times stronger than before. His Haki was such that it could penetrate Kaido's defenses and leave a permanent scar on himalmost killing him in the process. Kaido himself considers Odin to be one of the five strongest he has ever seen.
Silver's Rayleigh
Silver's Rayleigh was part of one of One Piece's biggest pirate crews, the Roger Pirates. Rayleigh is old in the current One Piece timeline, but he is still incredibly strong. Like the other Roger pirates, Rayleigh does not have Devil Fruit powers, instead relying on Haki. He uses Haki of all kinds, and fans know that his Conqueror's Haki is extremely powerful. Rayleigh was able to defeat Sommers, stop an Admiral, and even scare away a Yonko with her Haki.
King Harald
Harald has become a familiar figure to fans through Elbaf's flashback. It was revealed Harald, the king of Elbaf, was the strongest king who ever ruled the land of the giants. Harald was shown using a sword and his weapon of choice.
This was shown when he could go toe to toe with Rocks D. Xebec and is called his equal. Harald's Haki was definitely impressive, as he is one of the greatest in the world, and fans hope to see more of it in the upcoming chapters.
Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec's name has become a legend in One Piece. Xebec was able to lead the likes of Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaido, all under one flag – the Rocks Pirates. As fans now know, Xebec never ate a Devil Fruit, and his insane strength came from his Haki. Rock's Haki was so great that he could easily defeat an Admiral and even Garling Figarland. Xebec was even able to resist Imu's control for a time through his Hakialthough he ended up giving in to it at the end. His Haki was also known to create special shock waves that hit like a hammer or cannonball.
Gol D. Roger
The late pirate king, Gol D. Roger was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Roger proved himself to be a monster by conquering the Grand Line and finding the One Piece, all by relying only on his sword Ace and his Haki.
As a pirate of the highest order, Roger used all three types of Hakiand fans even saw him clash with the likes of Whitebeard. In fact, Roger's Haki was so great that it pierced immortality and killed Rock's D. Xebec's Domi Reversi form.
Shanks
If there's one character, especially among swordsmen, that fans immediately think of when Haki is mentioned, it's definitely Shanks. Shanks has proven on multiple occasions that his Haki is immense. He is a master of all three types of Haki, and fans know very well that his Conqueror's Haki is next level. Shanks has the best Haki feats, whether it's shooting Kid and Killer at once with a single attack, or crippling and damaging an Admiral with Haki from miles away. Shanks is a monster when it comes to Haki, above all, his Haki was directly compared to Joy Boy below Egghead, showing that it really is huge.
