Most Playstation players report from 21.00 PT that online services seem to be back to normal.
Playstation Players report that PSN seems to be down. Despite the obvious problems with the Playstation network, the official site shows no problems in publication.
PSN breaks are not extremely common, but they happen every now and then. They can be an important issue for players when they hit, as PSN that does not work properly in general means that online games, friends lists and more are inaccessible.
Reports initially began that players experienced difficulties on the Playstation family of consoles around 16:15 Pacific Time. The problem seems to affect many players, as Down Detector indicates that there are almost 10,000 reports from 17.00 PT. At present, Playstation has not addressed the problem on any official channels, and the automated website does not admit that there are any problems with the service. However, players report that they cannot access their friends lists, use parties or play online games.
This is really frustrating for Playstation players, and unfortunately there is not much they can do than to wait. With a little luck, the services will soon be backed up.
