Some people are obsessed with getting as many trophies as possible. They'll even play games they're not interested in just because that particular title has an easy-to-find platinum trophy. A couple of them only takes a few hourswhile some of the more involved ones take longer but are still easy to get hold of. Although there are some mindless, cheaper games on the PlayStation Store that seem designed just to give people one single platinum trophy on PS5most of the games are also big titles that will give players emotional satisfaction apart from the trophy.
While some people like to shell out for a platinum trophy, it can wear on a player's patience after a point due to the unpleasant tasks involved in getting this achievement. As a result, there is always an appeal for a short and sweet title that lets players unwind and rewards them with this prized achievement in no time at all. It's a simple pleasure that many PlayStation 5 gamers will enjoy for their own reasons.

Although it has different levels of difficulty that require a little more effort, ShapeShift Rushs Platinum Trophy requires NOTHING from players, except $2.49. The game has a very simple game loop: you have to jump between three lanes to match an automatically rolling ball with the correct shape. The better you do, the more crystals you collect.

The Jumping Churros: Turbo

The Jumping Churros: Turbo resembles My name is Mayo but with a different aesthetic. Instead of clicking on a jar of mayonnaise, players do a churro jump up and down all the time until they reach the platinum trophy. This game even allows players to simply hold down the jump button, making it perhaps the easiest platinum trophy to earn on PS5.
It's hard to tell if the developer released this game as a joke or if they knew they could make some easy money from those looking to exploit the trophy system. Regardless, it's both fun and an unsatisfying way to earn a platinum.
There are others Jumping game, sort of The Jumping Salad: Turbowhich accomplishes the same thing.
Be a bee
1-10 minutes to get the platinum trophy
OK, this is the last “Platinum” game we'll discuss, as there really isn't much to say about any of these. Be a bee is another game that exists primarily so that you can add a platinum trophy to your account (although there is also a Switch version), and you should be able to get it done in under 5 minutes. All you need to do is collect coins and flowers, which is very easy to do.
Pulse
2 minutes to 1 hour to get platinum
Another game that will probably only be purchased by trophy hunters, Pulse sets the bar extremely low for a Platinum, as all you really have to do is read through the visual novel and select the default dialogue option a handful of times. If you choose this game just to get the trophy, you can just speed through the campaign and ignore everything and finish everything in about a minute. But if you decide to actually play through the game normally, it would probably take you around an hour, depending on how fast you read.
To its credit, Pulse puts some effort into trying to be a budget visual novel. Yes, it only cycles through a couple of shots, and the story isn't great, but at least there's something here.
My name is Mayo: Remayo
30 minutes to get platinum
Probably one of the most infamous short PlayStation games designed primarily to be a light platinum, My name is Mayo originally debuted on PS4, and that version is available to play on PS5 as well. That said, if you want the optimal Mayo experience, you're going to want to pick up Remayo remaster, which is available on both consoles.
Although it's basically the same game, it comes with a few additions that make it a bit longer. However, Remayo is still a very simple and short game with a platinum that can be obtained in less than an hour.
Drowning
About an hour to get platinum
Drowning is an ambitious walking simulator that aims to show the effect of depression on a young man in his early school life. Unsurprisingly, it's not an enjoyable experience and requires four playthroughs to get the platinum trophy.
Thankfully, it only takes most players up to an hour to achieve, and 30 minutes for faster players. It is highly recommended that players follow a guide to reach the coveted platinum trophy in the game as quickly as possible. Some trophies are unmissable and can be overlooked without a guide to help.

1-2 hours to get platinum
Peppa Pig is a character that all children are familiar with by now, with this surprisingly popular figure teaching children good values in a simple yet engaging way. This character is sure to feature in some games that kids can enjoy even if they are too young to handle more complicated game mechanics.

While co-op isn't as common as it once was, there are still plenty of great local co-op and split-screen games for PlayStation 5.

Spades aside, Platinum trophies are satisfying because they signal that a player has experienced everything a game has to offer. Whether that trip requires 5 or 50 hours is somewhat irrelevant, as Platinum means the same to both. What Remains of Edith Finch is an example of a title that just wants you to enjoy it to the fullest, which is easy to do given how great the game is. Essentially a walking simulator, you explore a house in search of stories about various characters, allowing you to form a family tree.
As long as you take your time and look through everything, you should unlock almost all standard trophies in a single playthrough. After that, just replay two stories to get Platinum. Simple and enjoyable.

Anyone going through the game will have no problem getting this platinum once they beat the game. Any platform game enthusiast will have a great time going through Pinkman+.
Venba

More games need to bring some much needed South Asian representation, and Venba is a good example of why. The game uses cooking mini-games to highlight many aspects of South Indian cuisine while communicating a fun story along the way.
Venba is a beautiful and short experience that showcases indie gaming at its best. Players who check out this game on PlayStation 5 will easily breeze through this fun, cozy game and earn a platinum trophy in no time.
