While Danhausen's debut was met with confusion given how little attention the company's fans pay to wrestling outside the WWE bubble, it hasn't taken long for him to come over. A standout character thanks to his unique sense of humor, distinct mannerisms, goofy way of speaking and instantly recognizable face painting, Danhausen has managed to win over the WWE fanbase through his curses. The “very nice, very mean” wrestler has had some fun backstage segments, such as one with Dirty Dom that saw him seemingly cause Mysterio to lose his championship, but the backstage segments can't determine an overall rating in WWE 2K26.
Danhausen can be fun to watch on the indies, with funny moments like the Tequila Dance popping up over the years, but he's not a performer like Kenny Omega or Bryan Danielson. His limited moveset and diminutive size may be a major reason why he has yet to wrestle in a WWE ring, and there's no telling when this will change. Maybe he'll end up in a tag team with a proven wrestler, similar to comedy wrestler R-Truth (and Danhausen's own AEW work, where he shined most when paired with Hook). At the time of writing, however, there is absolutely nothing to go on, giving Visual Concepts two options for Danhausen's WWE 2K26 rating: fair or humorous.
WWE 2K26 is rolling out patch 1.07
2K is releasing its update 1.07 for WWE 2K26, which pushes a variety of bug fixes to the latest entry in the annual wrestling franchise.
A realistic rating for Danhausen in WWE 2K26
If Visual Concepts wants to keep Danhausen tame, somewhere in the mid-70s would make sense. This would put him in good company with some other comical and gimmicky undercard wrestlers, such as:
-
Akira Tozawa (68)
-
Grayson Waller (73)
-
Doink the Clown (74)
-
The Boogeyman (74)
-
The Hurricane (75)
-
R-Truth (80)
-
Joe Hendry (80)
Danhausen is around 77 overall would make sense, as he is a very new addition to the roster that is less proven than a star like Joe Hendry or R-Truth. Putting him above wrestlers who have matches week in and week out doesn't really make sense, but giving the tooth-collecting vampire a brutally low score like Eric Bischoff's 58 could be seen as burying a new signing. A fairly average score for Danhausen seems like the safest route to take, although there is a more fun option for WWE 2K26 if Visual Concepts is willing to take a little risk.
CM Punk and Danhausen's hilarious interactions are always a big hit on the internet, and with Danhausen being a 77-year-old, that would allow for another one, as he can say he's been rated higher than CM Punk in the game. While the current version of The Best in the World has a total rating of 94, Retro CM Punk only has 74 points, so Danhausen can technically say there's evidence that he's better.
A humorous Danhausen rating might give him a 99 overall
While Super John Cena's 100 Overall was special in WWE 2K25a main list 99 is also rare. Roman Reigns had this back in WWE 2K23 when the Tribal Chief storyline was at its peak, but in WWE 2K26 there are no wrestlers with a 99 yet. Visual Concepts could have a little fun and give Danhausen a 99, then lean into the idea that he seemingly has a mystical power to curse those he dislikes. A comedy wrestler who is the top superstar in the game would be a fun change of pace, and it would add to the mystique of the Danhausen character if he has yet to wrestle but is still treated as the strongest wrestler in the company via its official video game.
With even Danhausen's WWE moveset being a mystery, whether Visual Concepts takes inspiration from his indie matches, pulls moves out of a hat, or simply lets Danhausen do the curse and nothing else in the game is anyone's guess. His overall rating is similarly mysterious given the lack of in-ring work to draw from, with Danhausen a safe bet to be somewhere in the 70s. If WWE 2K26 want to be a bit chaotic and have fun with the power of Danhausen's curses, but giving him a ridiculously high score would make for a very memorable piece of DLC.
