Anime is the place that viewers can go to see some really remarkable forces. One of the most powerful abilities that a character may have in an anime is the ability to erase memories completely or to manipulate someone's willingness to forget temporarily. It has manifested in many anime and goes back decades.

This ability is as common as time travel, flight or ice forces, but not every anime that includes memory ring uses it effectively. It takes skilled creators to implement the power well, and these characters are examples of scary devices that used their abilities for evil purposes.

In the world of Code GEASS: The Lelouch of UusstationThere are other worldly creatures that can grant people's abilities called Geas. The protagonist, Lelouch, can use their Geass on humans to make them obey their commands, which is a powerful ability to be safe.

Charles Zi Britannia, the emperor of Britannia and father of Lelouch, however has an even greater Geass in Code GEASS: The Lelouch of Uusstation. At the end of the season one erase and manipulates Lelouch's memories, and season two opens with Lelouch still in a stupid. This power is how the emperor Britannia could conquer the nation so easily.

Deus' assistant, wall, turns out to be more than a passive observer when she manipulated things behind the scenes to basically become deus. She has a washing list of forces, including time travel, memory manipulation and simply strength.

Pudding can then cut his own film together to manipulate memories, which are close to Rohan's ability, except less horrible.

Chibiusa (Sailor Moon)

Later in Anime, she makes everyone believe that Usagi is her little sister. Chibiusa is a little mislead and lost when looking for answers, but she is not evil.
