Pokemon Scarlet and Violet revealed that the next seven-star Tera Raid battle will pit trainers against Dragapult the Unrivaled. However, the upcoming one Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Tera Raid battle is the last in a year-long campaign, as Dragapult is the last pseudo-legendary monster featured as a Tera Raid boss.
Dragapult, known as the Stealth Pokémon, first appeared in Pokemon Sword and Shield as the pseudo-legendary monster of the Galar region. Dragapult is the final evolved form of the Dreepy line, as it evolves from Drakloak starting at level 60. Dragapult is a dual type creature of Ghost and Dragon and is known for its high speed and attack stats. However, Dragapult's power is offset by low defenses compared to other pseudo-legendary Pokemon like Dragonite and Garchomp, making it a glass cannon. Dragapult's signature attack is Dragon Darts, which shoot two Dreepy mounted on each side to damage multiple targets.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Dragapult Tera Raid Details (December 2025)
After the end of the Goodra Tera Raid battle window, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet coaches will have another tough test to contend with. According to Serebii.net, Dragapult the Unrivaled will appear in the Seven-Star Tera Raid battle dens starting Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 PM Eastern and ending on Sunday, December 7th at 6:59 PM Eastern. Pokémon trainers who miss the first weekend of December will have another chance from December 11th to 14th. Dragapult the Unrivaled will be Dragon-type since it is Tera-type, and will grant the Mightiest Mark to any Pokemon that defeats it. However, the impending arrival of Dragapult the Unrivaled will mark the end of a year-long campaign in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which was announced several months ago.
Dragapult the Unrivaled Heralds the End of a Year-Long Saga
During the February 2025 Pokemon Day festivities, The Pokemon Company stated that most of this year's seven-star Tera Raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet would feature pseudo-legendary Pokémon from across the franchise. Powerful iterations of Dragonite, Metagross, and similar Pokémon appeared in Seven-Star Tera Raid lairs throughout Paldea, each giving trainers a different challenge to take on. For example, Tyranitar forced Pokémon trainers to develop clever strategies to beat it, while the raw power of enemies like Garchomp proved tough challenges for even the most seasoned Pokémon fighting.
In July 2025, the seven-star Tera Raid battle campaign that featured generations of pseudo-legendary Pokémon went on hiatus for four months. This break was due to other things Pokemon Scarlet and Violet events, such as Shiny Treasures of Ruin and the controversial Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon distribution event, which took place during the summer and fall. In November 2025, the pseudo-legendary campaign resumed with the appearance of Hydreigon the Unrivaled. With the arrival of Dragapult, this marks the end of a year-long Tera Raid campaign for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, that doesn't mean Dragapult is the final Seven-Star Tera Raid boss, as The Pokemon Company can still surprise Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players with additional Tera Raid content at any time.
Which Pokemon will work against Dragapult?
Dragapult the Unrivaled will have one of three abilities, all of which can be annoying Pokémon coach to handle. For its standard abilities, Clear Body negates static reduction from moves and abilities, while Infiltrator allows Dragapult to ignore Reflect or Light Screen and deal full damage. However, Dragapult's hidden ability, Cursed Body, can cause an attacking Pokemon's movement to be temporarily disabled, which can make beating the clock a long task. Moves like Skill Swap and Gastro Acid are recommended to negate the effects of Dragapult's ability, regardless of which one it will use during the upcoming battle.
Although dragon-type Pokemon are weak to ice and dragon attacks, Dragapult the Unrivaled can use moves to counter these two weaknesses. However, Dragapult has no cover against Fairy-type Pokémon, making it the safest type to use against Stealth Pokémon. This is due to the fact that Fairy Pokémon are immune to Dragon Darts and other Dragon-type moves. Additionally, Fairy-type attacks such as Moonblast deal super effective damage to draconic enemies. Critters like Sylveon, Primarina, and Galarian Weezing can prove handy against Dragapult the Unrivaled. Time will tell which strategies Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers will evolve towards Dragapult.
