For April Fools Day, Pokemon Pokopia has decided to give players a free item, but they only have 24 hours to claim it. Like a cozy game, Pokemon Pokopia offers many items and building materials to help players decorate their islands and create elaborate habitats for their Pokémon friends.
Released just last month, Pokemon Pokopia is already one of the most popular Switch 2 games to date, selling over 2.2 million copies worldwide in just four days. The protagonist is a Ditto who transforms into a human trainer to help revive several islands and bring back the Pokémon that inhabit them. The game makes many references to others Pokémon game and features items inspired by certain characters, such as the latest inflatable Sudowoodo.

Pokemon Pokopia's inflatable Sudowoodo is only available for 24 hours
On April 1, Pokemon Pokopia launched an April event called the Copycat Challenge, where Ditto has to talk to different Pokémon and guess who they're trying to copy. After answering three of these questions correctly, players can claim an inflatable Sudowoodo as a prize, which resembles a waving pipeman. The catch is that players can only get this free bit until April 2nd at 5am.
How to get inflatable Sudowoodo in Pokemon Pokopia

Once the game has booted up, players should head towards a Pokémon Center computer to start the Copycat challenge. This works for all Pokemon Centers regardless of location.

Wander around the island and interact with Pokémon using three-dot speech bubbles. Players must talk to three Pokémon.

The Pokémon will ask Ditto to guess who they are impersonating. If they get three questions correct, they can claim the prize.

Go back to the Pokemon Center computer and click finish on “Answer today's special quiz correctly!” notice to claim the inflatable Sudowoodo.

To place the inflatable Sudowoodon on the island, open Ditto's inventory and select the item.
From now on, many eager Pokemon Pokopia players have already claimed their free inflatable Sudowoodo, even taking pictures of it next to a real Sudowoodo. They can also make multiple copies of the inflatable Sudowoodo by taking a photo of it and using the 3D printer at a nearby Pokémon Center or Treasure Island. In the meantime, if players don't have enough time to finish the April event before 5am on April 2nd, they can turn back the clock on their Switch 2 to access it again.
Pokemon Pokopia future updates
Although it is still a new game, it is already clear that it Pokemon Pokopia will have more updates and events in the future. Pokopia recently rolled out version 1.0.2 to fix a number of issues to make the game smoother. Players can also enjoy limited-time events, such as the April event and the Hoppip event, to get special rewards that they can use on their islands. These updates will increase Pokopias playability even after players have completed the main story.

There are also speculations about it Pokemon Pokopias DLC may take place on the Sevii Islands. The site, which consists of nine main islands and several islets, was first introduced in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreenand is known to be the home of a number of mythical and legendary Pokémon, such as Moltres, Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys. Pokemon Pokopia players can befriend Moltres, Lugia, and Ho-oh, but Deoxys is still missing from the game. If Sevii Islands opens up in a future DLC, players may be given a chance to befriend Mythical Gen 3 Pokémon and other new characters that may be hiding around the area. Developers Koei Tecmo and Game Freak have yet to confirm one Pokopia DLC and its possible release date, so fans will have to wait and see.
