Pokemon GO 'Sparkle and Shine' Masterwork Research Steps and Rewards (Shiny Diancie)

If you've gone ahead and spent ten dollars on Global Ticket for Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos 2026 event, you will immediately receive “An X-ceptional Yarn” Special Research which will lead you to a possible meeting with Xerneas and Yveltal, the legends of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Once you've completed the five steps in the research, you'll gain access to Sparkle and Shine Masterwork Research which will end with a special meeting with shiny DiancieThe Rock/Fairy type from the Kalos region. However, if you do not purchase the Global Ticket by Sunday, March 1st, 6:00 PM local time, you will not be able to receive the survey.

It's also worth noting that the Masterwork stages are not fully live and are meant to be released slowly over time. We will update this post as the rest of the research is added. At the time of writing, three out of ten steps are available.

- Catch a Pokemon on seven different days (719 XP)
- Mega Evolve 7 Pokemon (719 XP)
  - Stage rewards: 2026 XP, Shiny Diancie t-shirt

- Change a Furfrou's Trim (26 Furfrou Candy)
- Catch a Scatterbug (26 Scatterbug Candy)
- Evolve Eevee into Sylveon (26 Eevee Candy)
  - Stage Reward: 1 Incense, 30 Ultra Balls
Step 3/10
- Catch 100 Fairy types (Spritzee Encounter)
- Catch 10 different species of Fairy types (Swirlix encounter)
- Visit PokeStops on 21 different days (Dedenne encounter)
  - Stage Rewards: 20 Spritzee Candy, 20 Swirlix Encounters, 20 Dedenne Candy
