For players who want new challenges in Shadow Raids, the season will have battles against Shadow Regice, Regirock and Registeel. Also make a comeback in Pokémon GO is Hoopa, following its debut in 2021 and its final appearance in 2022. Now, with the announcement of yet another event, trainers will see another pocket monster that hasn't appeared in Niantic's games in a while.

Pokémon GO has revealed the new Young and Wise event featuring the Genesect Chill Drive, one of the alternate forms of the Gen 5 monster, as the boss of the 5-star raids. The event starts on Tuesday, December 10 at 10.00 and ends on Saturday 14 December at 20.00 local time. One of the highlights of the event, Mythical Pokémon will be available until December 12th at 10am. At the same time, Mega Raids with Mega Banette will end, and Mega Raids with Mega Latios will start. The event will also feature one-star raids with Jangmo-o and four other animals, and three-star raids with Drampa and three other pocket monsters.

By hatching eggs at 2km they will be able to get Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Bonsly, Happiny and Munchlax. In addition to expanding their Pokedex with some of the popular baby Pokémon, Trainers will have new field research tasks that are rewarding with event-themed animal encounters, collection challenges to earn more XP and extra Pokémon encounters, and fresh exhibits available at PokeStops.
Dual Destiny Season promises exciting long-term news, such as the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova announced for 2025, and the January and February Community Days, whose dates have already been confirmed. Although these events won't come until next year, December will offer engaging activities too Pokémon GO players, such as the debut of Sinistea and Polteageist in the Just My Cup of Tea event.
