Pokémon GO adds three more Pokémon that premiered in the Gen 8 games, with Blipbug, Dottler, and Orbeetle joining the roster. The update that adds these three Pokemon is coming Pokémon GO in March, so players won't have to wait too long to try and get them.
Pokémon GO regularly offers events and additions of new Pokémon to keep the game interesting, and it has already revealed some exciting additions coming in March. Pokémon GO Super Mega Raids kick off at the end of February and continue until March 1st and beyond Pokémon GO Community Day will also arrive in March, and will feature Scorbunny.

Pokémon GO has announced another bug-themed celebration, dubbed the Bug Out event. This event starts on March 17 at 10.00 and ends on March 23 at 20.00 local coach time. As mentioned, Blipbug, Dottler, and Orbeetle, who all got their start in the Galar region, will finally arrive in Pokémon GO. Players will be able to use 25 Blipbug Candy to evolve Blipbug into Dottler, and 100 of the same candy to evolve Dottler into Orbeetle. Blipbug will be in the wild, so players have a chance to encounter and capture one naturally. But it will also feature in One-Star Raids, and Pokémon GO The pass will include an encounter with Blipbug.

As with most Pokémon GO event, there are a number of other encounters, fights and goodies that players can expect from Bug Out. For starters, Lure Modules will have a special chance to attract certain types of bug Pokémon. From March 17th at 10am to March 19th at the same time, Paras and Sizzlipede can spawn when a Lure Module is used. From March 19 to March 21, Cutiefly and Sizzlipede get their chance, and Combee and Sizzlipede can appear from March 21 to March 23. Paras, Combee and Cutiefly will have an increased chance to become shiny when pulled in by regular Lure Modules. Meanwhile, players have an increased chance to encounter Caterpie, Dwebble, Sizzlipede, Nymble, and Scyther in the wild, all of which will have a chance to become Shiny.
As usual, players will have Field Research Tasks attached to the event to complete, giving players items and encounters with event Pokémon to complete them. Pinsir, Scizor and Kleavor will appear in Three-Star Raids, with a chance to shine. Those who use the standard GO Pass for Bug Out will be able to earn Stardust, XP, Lure Modules, Great Balls and more, while those who get the GO Pass Deluxe will earn the Premium Battle Pass, more Lure Modules, Rare Candy XL and Candy XL. Picks up Pokémon GO Pass Deluxe on the Web Store will also reward players with a bonus of 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, a Premium Battle Pass and five Max Potions. Those who pick up the GO Pass Deluxe Bug Out + 6 Ranks Ultra Box will also get 20 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Revives, 10 Max Potions, two Premium Battle Passes, an Incubator and a Super Incubator as a bonus.
Considering this is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon franchise as a whole and the 10th anniversary of Pokémon GOs release, there should be many exciting things in store for fans throughout the year. Pokemon trainers are already hyped with anticipation for the upcoming Pokemon Presents, which are likely to have many exciting reveals to share. Even those who aren't enthusiastic about today's Pokemon or the games they're in may be happy to know that Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen coming soon to the Nintendo Switch family of consoles. There is likely something for almost everyone Pokémon devil arrives this year.
