It remains to be seen whether Nintendo will take action against the woodworking store with Arceus in its name.
A Pokemon Damn has shared a bizarre picture of a store that uses Arceus as both their logo and name. The shop does not seem to have anything to do with Pokemon Series otherwise, which leads to entertainment and confusion from players.
Pokemon is recognized all over the world because of the market's saturation and the life of the series. However, seeing Pokémon used to unofficially advertise or marketing products or companies is much rare. Apart from the fact that using another company's IP without permission is usually wrinkled on, Nintendo's litigious behavior would make it an even worse idea to try this with everything from Pokemon.

Pokemon fan shares realistic 3D-printed squirtle
Thanks to the work on a Pokemon fan, a 3D-printed model reveals how a realistic version of Squirtle would look like in the real world.
It apparently has not stopped a company, but as the Reddit user something 95x pointed out. The fan shared a picture of a woodworking store, which is both a picture and Arceus name. “Arceus Sash Wood Works” store is apparently in the Philippines. Someone joked that the original gave woodworking knowledge to people to help their civilization grow, and many more have shared similar jokes in the comments. However, some have also expressed that they would not be surprised if Nintendo's lawyers come into contact with the business in the near future.
Games show up as used by companies in strange ways
Although not legal or recommended, this is not the first time that video game characters or properties have been used to market companies. A popular title that appears often appears in an unofficial capacity is Red Dead Redemption 2. Arthur Morgan and Hans Posse have been discovered on several murals and signs for western restaurants, for example. He is not the only protagonist from the franchise who also gets a nod with John Marson's image used on packaging. It is not clear if these uses are deliberate tributes to the games, or if someone simply used Red Dead Redemption Pictures to fill a generic Western niche.
Whether this store will receive a cessation and refrain from Nintendo remains to be seen. But it is an interesting thing to discover, and one wonders why the store owner would choose Arceus of all Pokémon to associate with his store. If the only goal was to associate Pokemon With the store, a grass type Pokémon or even something that reminds people of wood, like Sudowoodo, may have been a good choice. It is possible that Arceus is simply a favorite among the store owner, or maybe they chose it randomly. In any case, it would certainly be surprising to see something similar of the blue.
