The brand new Wuxing University Control map joins Overwatch 2 Stadium as a potential battlefield, and in the mid-season update, anti-spawn camp towers will be implemented to help the underdogs get back to the objective without being steamrolled at their base as easily.
Tons of new skins are arriving in the Battle Pass and being stored Overwatch 2 Season 20, including Mythic Divine Desperado Cassidy, Capsule Cannon Orisa skins, and Magma Titan Doomfist during the mid-season patch. Winter Wonderland also returns Overwatch 2 from December 9 to January 7, featuring familiar game modes alongside a holiday-themed Mischief & Magic. The first two weeks of this event will feature the typical prop hunting minigame, but the last two will introduce a twist in the form of special abilities unique to each disguise that allow Kiriko to fight back against Genji. There haven't been any clues pointing to a new collaborative event yet, though Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover will return from December 16-29, ostensibly giving fans the chance to buy all the skins they missed or earn Katara Mei through in-game challenges.
