As such, a lot of exciting information about Rocks and his crew was revealed in this SBS. Rocks himself, who was central throughout this volume, got a lot of exciting lore about him, and it really enriches his character even more than ever before, especially when things like his sword and ship are tackled.
One Piece: Oda Reveals The Son of Rock D. Xebec, And It's A Legendary Pirate
Rock's D. Xebec's son has been revealed, and it's a major One Piece figure.
One Piece Vol 114 SBS Confirms Name of Rocks's Ship
The cast of the One Piece universe is incredibly diverse, and over the years, Oda has continued to introduce many intriguing supporting characters and develop them in ways fans could not even imagine. In the Elbaf arc, he did something similar with the character Rocks D. Xebec, who was previously introduced in a story in the Wano Country Arc. Rocks ended up becoming a fan favorite, and it's clear to see why. His incredible charisma as a pirate and his touching story made for a brilliant show in this arc.
As such, it doesn't come as a surprise to see Oda develop Rocks and his crew in the latest SBS. In One Piece Volume 114 SBS, Oda Rocks developed the Pirates by revealing the name of their ship. It is said that when Rocks sailed the seas of the One Piece world, his ship was named Rocks's Fury.
Follow me and I'll take you to the top of the world. — Rocks D. Xebec
-
This is a perfect name for the ship, considering that it fully represents what Rocks brought to the world. Barely surviving after being born, Rocks D. Xebec wanted to fulfill Davy's will by taking revenge, fighting and deposing Imu and becoming king of the world. As such, he brought fury with him, which was meant for Imu, and in that sense, this name makes perfect sense.

One Piece Volume 114 confirms Rock's sword name
Along with the ship of Rocks, Oda also confirmed the name of the special sword he always used, and it is stated that it was known as The Eclipse. Clearly, this is one of the coolest names for any sword One Piece has seen, and Rocks used it with great skill. Rock's swordsmanship was known to be extremely special, in the sense that he infused it with Conqueror's Haki and swung it in such a way that this sword managed to create powerful shockwaves of Haki. Instead of slashing or slashing, Rox's sword attacks mostly dealt crushing damage and felt like a blow from a hammer. This sword style was later adapted by Roger and has now been transferred to Shanks.
3 female Yonko level characters in one piece
One Piece has many powerful female characters, but only a handful of them are Yonko level.
Rock's swordsmanship was particularly known for blunt damage with shock waves, almost like a hammer. — Narrator
Rocks' Sword was likely the highest grade
Although the grade of the sword from Rocks D. Xebec has not been confirmed, it is most likely a Supreme Grade Sword. It would make perfect sense for this to be the case, as fans already know that Roger's saber, named Ace, is a Supreme Grade Blade. Similarly, Whitebeard's Murakumogiri is also top class. It wouldn't make sense for Rock's underling to have a top quality blade but for him not to have one. As such, it can be safely assumed that The Eclipse is also top notch.
More Rocks information will be revealed with future One Piece volumes
The next volume of One Piece will continue to focus on Rocks Pirates and Elbaf, and in that sense, more information about them may be revealed later. It goes without saying that Rocks and his crew are central to the Elbaf arc, and will continue to play a big role from now on since Blackbeard, the son of Rocks, is still alive. Rocks may have failed to fulfill Davy's will, but his son, Blackbeard, certainly will not fail to do so. Through Blackbeard, fans will find out a lot more exciting details about him, and it's sure to be an exciting ride.
