One Piece Episode 1154 revealed how Vegapunk had prepared the transmission slug in advance. Considering how Vegapunk had no idea that York had betrayed them and was bugging them to the world government, it didn't make sense for the scientist to come up with a counteroffensive, which is why the new episode was so important.
Two weeks before the Straw Hats' arrival, Pirates, Vegapunk, Pythagoras and Shaka found out that someone had tampered with readings of the Mother Flame. They knew that only a Vegapunk could do such a thing, but they found no real clues. So they rolled up their sleeves and started looking for clues. A week later they had a breakthrough and finally learned that it was York and not Lilith who had stolen part of the Mother Flame and turned it over to the World Government. Things got worse when Vegapunk discovered that York had tricked them into the world government.
After learning of York's betrayal, Stella, Pythagoras, and Shaka began formulating a plan to counter hers. They went through the forged evidence and found out everything York had done. Vegapunk recorded his message and inserted the slug into the iron giant, where no one could find it. After completing their plan, the trio had to erase their memories of the event, not wanting York to find out. However, Stella wrote a note explaining some of the things the satellites could expect.
Vegapunk sacrificed himself for the world
The key to starting the broadcast was Vegapunk's death. The scientist had programmed it to go off when he was dead. Due to his memories being erased, he didn't know exactly why his death was decisive. However, he decided to trust the written note, which is why he told Sanji to let him die.
If Vegapunk had backed off, the rest of the world would never have found out the true story. His courage is commendable, especially considering that he had no powerful abilities.
The Straw Hat Pirates are finally going to Elbaf
One Piece Episode 1155 will not be heavy on action. Instead, it will focus on the Straw Hats as they begin their journey to Elbaf. The crew finally reunited after a long time, and there is nothing stopping them from setting sail.
One Piece: Oda has already set up a war bigger than Marineford in the last saga
Marineford was huge, but it's nothing compared to what's to come in One Piece's final saga.
But the Straw Hats will not be alone, as they will be accompanied by the Giant Warrior Pirates, who risked life and limb to save the heroes from annihilation. Dorry and Brogy previously met the Straw Hat Pirates in the Little Garden. Ever since then, the heroes have been dying to visit the island. Since the Straw Hats have only just begun their adventure, it's safe to say they won't reach Elbaf in episode 1155.
The world government is in shambles
Vegapunk's broadcast shocked the world government because it contained a lot of information it did not want to publish. The five elders tried their best to stop Vegapunk's transmission, but they couldn't, as the scientist was two steps ahead of them. They also tried to assassinate the Straw Hats but failed in that attempt as well. Their next course of action will be to strengthen security and make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn's fate hangs in the balance
It will also be interesting to see what happens with Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn after his failure to stop Vegapunk. Of all the elders, he bears the greatest responsibility because he was the deity of science and defense. Therefore, Vegapunk's actions were a sign of his failure. Fans know that Imu isn't the nicest person, and they won't be happy with Saturn's appearance on Egghead Island. So it is possible that Saturn may be removed from power, and someone else will take his place. Hopefully, One Piece Episode 1155 will answer the question.
