The post contains spoilers for One Piece.
The last episodes of One Piece anime have been pretty intense. Ever since Dr. Vegapunk's broadcast began, the entire world's population has been glued to their screens, wanting to know what goes through the scientist's mind.
Vegapunk's broadcast was full of important details that the five elders didn't want to divulge to the rest of them One Piece world. So they did their best to find the source of the transmission and put an end to it.
Vegapunk reveals the truth about the Lulusia incident
Lulusia Kingdom was destroyed with the help of Mother Flame
Viewers were already aware of the destruction of Lulusia Kingdom, but it was unclear how Imu managed to accomplish such a task. Vegapunk's broadcast revealed that Imu used part of the Mother Flame to power an ancient weapon and then used it to exterminate the Lulusia Kingdom. The broadcast revealed important details about the Void Century and the world's history.
According to Vegapunk, the Void Century ended with Joyboy's death. Around the same time, there was a sharp rise in water levels. Vegapunk revealed that the water level rose by 200 meters, causing the continents to be submerged. He reiterated that his research led him to believe it was not a natural occurrence. In fact, everything pointed to the disaster being man-made.
While the broadcast was still going on, there was quite a bit of panic among the five elders. They searched all over the island to find the source of the transmission, but all their efforts were to no avail. The episode also featured a touching interaction between Stussy and Edison. The latter asked Stussy to turn off the barrier and leave the island, but she refused. Stussy went through an existential crisis after Stellar's death. Her whole life was devoted to Stella, but now that he was dead, she had no idea what to do next. The episode also showed the reactions of various people around the world to Vegapunk's message.

The Straw Hats must escape quickly
One Piece Episode 1150 will be released on November 16, 2025. It's titled “Get the ship moving! The Iron Giant activates.” In the last episode, York told the Five Elders that the source was inside the Iron Giant, which was in Fabiriophase. After learning about the location, it's pretty obvious that the five elders will now turn their attention to the iron giant.
So far, the Iron Giant has looked almost invulnerable. The Marines fired a truckload of cannonballs at the Iron Giant, but they couldn't put a dent in the armor. But the Five Elders are more than capable of damaging any gigantic structure. In episode 1149, Saint. Baron V. Nusjuro cut through Labophase with his sword, so there's no reason to think he can't do the same to the Iron Giant, though he may have to hit him more than once.
One Piece Episode 1150 will be an important episode for the Straw Hats, as they still haven't escaped from the island. But there is a good chance that the Iron Giant will help them escape. In addition to helping the Straw Hats, the Iron Giant will also battle the Five Elders, who want to stop the broadcast at all costs.
