ODA reveals how he makes his villains stronger

He collided with Dracule Mihawk and held him back easily, and he even managed to stop Akainu, so that Luffy could live. Crocodile fought almost everyone in the Paramount War, and what is fantastic is the fact that he could keep his own against every one of them. Now, in the new world, is a crocodile member of Cross Guild and a pirate with a price of SEK 1,965 billion. He has become even stronger and is light among the strongest Yonko commanders.

Something similar also happened to Lucci. He was introduced to the fans as a CP9 agent when he was beaten by Luffy. But in the story after the time ship, Lucci was much stronger. He even showed his fantastic awakening and thus managed to keep his own against Luffy. Without a doubt, Lucci was a completely different beast when he returned after the time and he remains relevant to this day.

Will more old villains return in one piece?

Just like crocodile and luci, more characters will return in one piece at some point. Fans know for a fact that Enel could have an important role specified for him and that he could play a massive role in the last story, especially because he is on the moon right now. When he comes back he will be much stronger than ever before. Fans should expect him to have other forms of Haki and show his real potential in battle.

Together with him, Gecko Moria was also able to play an important role in the last story. Oda clearly plans something when it comes to him, given that he was imprisoned by BlackBeard and has now been freed. When Moria returns to play a big role, fans should expect him to be stronger.

Similarly, even characters who were introduced a long time ago, such as Gin, could potentially return in the story, as well as characters who were introduced as villains very recently, such as Doflamingo. All of these characters can play an important role and they will make it stronger than ever before. All the fans need to do is to lean patiently and wait for the story to move on.
