Solo Leveling and The Suitor: Beyond Journey's End are both series that came out around the same time, and since then both have seen quite a bit of competition in the global market. At the 2025 Crunchyroll Awards, most fans thought the win would go to one of the two series, and indeed, Solo Leveling took the crown, which was somewhat expected, but definitely controversial. With their incredible history of competing with each other, fans were surprised to see that the two are actually collaborating very soon. On October 23, 2025, Frieren and Solo Leveling join forces with a collaboration attached to Solo Leveling video game, Solo Leveling: Arise.

It has become one of the most popular anime worldwide, along with Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The suitor started sometime before Solo Leveling and has gathered many fans since then, become the highest rated anime ever.

Both series competed against each other during the Crunchyroll Awards 2025. Yet now they are joining in a major collaboration that few fans expected. This collaboration will launch on October 23, 2025.
