November 20 is Suddenly a big day for Xbox players

Xbox fans will get a closer look at some upcoming games this week, as the next Xbox Partner Preview has officially been scheduled for November 20th. This showcase focuses on some of the most anticipated third-party games to launch for Xbox along with some new Game Pass announcements.

The last major Xbox broadcast was the Xbox Games Showcase that took place over the summer, and while the Xbox Partner Preview is smaller in scale, the list of games confirmed to be a part of it is anything but. Xbox has been full of surprises this year, and the unveiling of a brand new showcase on Thursday teases exciting announcements beyond its confirmed game lineup.

Every game confirmed for Xbox Partner Preview on November 20th

  • 007 First light
  • Tide of annihilation
  • Reborn animal

The three games in the spotlight are a varied mix of titles. Over the past year, players have seen several previews of 007 First lightso it will be interesting to see what else developer IO Interactive has to offer. Tide of annihilation made waves when it was announced back in February during Sony's State of Play. This fantasy title inspired by the Arthurian legend looks action-packed, and its presence on the Xbox Partner Preview is a compelling addition. Reborn animal is one of the most mysterious games of the bunch. Created by the original developers of Little nightmares franchise, Reborn animal first revealed in 2024. Its stylistic and uncanny energy is reminiscent of Little nightmaresbut it promises something much darker.

New game announcements and Game Pass news are also teased, so for those keen to see what else Xbox has up its sleeve, it might be worth tuning into the Xbox Partner Preview. There's no way to know what games Xbox is hiding in the shadows, but given the event's third-party focus, it's highly likely that the yet-to-be-announced titles will be third-party as well.

The Xbox Partner Preview will be broadcast November 20 at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm UK and will be on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok.

It's been an interesting year for Xbox. Between Game Pass' price hike, the success of ROG Xbox Ally, several game cancellations and early discussions about the next-gen Xbox, the company has had a variety of highs and lows. Thankfully, the wait for the Xbox Partner Preview won't be long, and when it does arrive, it will be fascinating to see what other games are included in the broadcast's lineup.
