An uncalled play is called Terminator 2D: No Fate leaked online via a prematurely published age rating. The mysterious title will seemingly add to the ever-growing catalog of Terminator video game, although details on that are currently scarce.
The story of Terminator game is almost as old as the franchise itself. It started with the DOS action adventure The Terminatordeveloped and published by Bethesda Softworks in 1991, seven years after the first film. Over two dozen Terminator games for everything from PC and consoles to arcades and pinball machines have followed over the next three decades.

Another game based on the iconic sci-fi series now appears to be on the horizon, according to a recent addition to the Australian Classification Board (ACB) database. The December 19 listing, first spotted by Gematsu, references a game called Terminator 2D: No Fatewhich is described as developed and published by Reef Entertainment. The British company was already involved in a video game adaptation of this IP, having served as the publisher for the 2019 open-world shooter Terminator: Resistancedeveloped by the Polish studio Teyon.
Terminator 2D: No Fate Age Rating Overview
The title mentioned in the recently appeared listing suggests that No fate will be a 2D game, so probably nothing like that Terminator: Resistance. The ACB rated the unannounced game Mature (M), which is one level below the Mature Accompanied (MA 15+) rating that the same regulator attached to Reef Entertainment's first Terminator game. The agency described Terminator 2D: No Fates content as “moderate in impact”, citing the game's unspecified themes, depictions of violence, and strong language as reasons for that label.
Terminator 2D: No Fate is reportedly coming to both PC and consoles
The recently discovered age classification also indicates that Terminator 2D: No Fate is slated to launch on a variety of systems. PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC are all listed under the game's platforms. The ACB classification does not mention any other relevant details about the upcoming title. The emergence of this age classification does not necessarily confirm it Terminator 2D: No Fate is close to being released, but that makes such a scenario more likely. For example. Reef's Terminator: Resistance was rated by ACB on September 5, 2019, two weeks before the official announcement and two and a half months before its release.

If history is set to repeat itself this time, Terminator 2D: No Fate could come to fruition in early 2025. This timeframe would put it close to Nacon's open-world survival game Terminator: Survivorwhich was originally scheduled to debut in late October 2024 but was recently pushed back to 2025.
