New Resident Evil Requiem game shows new location similar to Spencer Mansion
A short clip of battle between Grace and a zombie in Resident Evil Requiem was shown during a special program broadcast on Japanese television. The short teaser sees Grace fire a gun at a zombie walking down a flight of stairs before the shaking enemy lunges at her. The players immediately likened the scene to moments in the original Resident Evil game, namely fighting the undead in the ornate Spencer Mansion, albeit with a modern over-the-shoulder camera angle. Indeed, the carved wooden banister that runs up the stairs and the wall-mounted lighting fixtures share a similar architecture and design to the Spencer Mansion, as well as areas of the Raccoon City Police Department. While nothing directly confirms the game's location, a wall of what appear to be room keys possibly indicates that the scene is actually set in a staff area of the Wrenwood Hotel.
