There are many ways to earn money Animal Crossing: New Horizonsbut if done right, buying and selling turnips is one of the most profitable ways to do it. The goal is to buy turnips at a low price and then sell them at a higher price. Blatant Animal Crossing Copy appears on PlayStation Store
An upcoming indie game that recently appeared on the PlayStation Store looks like a pretty obvious ripoff of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Now, Reddit user Gabe563 has shown off the wild collection of turnips they have sitting on their island. Most players who have participated in Animal Crossing: New Horizons the turnip market will likely recognize the level of effort put into the first pictures, as it is common to fill your home with turnips while waiting to sell them. However, the rest of the slideshow shows that the player's island has been completely covered in turnips, with every inch of land shown covered in them. With every visible turnip actually standing in a stack of 100 turnips, the sheer number of turnips collected is amazing.
Animal Crossing fans consider profit and tragedy
Many fans have shared how impressed they are with the player's efforts, but many seem almost disturbed by the sheer number of them. Several wondered how much Bells were spent to buy the turnip and how many Gabe563 had. Gabe563 estimates that they have spent about 13 million Bells on the effort and estimates that they have 1,337 stacks, for a total of 133,700 turnips. At around 100 per turnip there is a clear chance of profit, but the player will likely need to use turnip buying and selling communities to find Animal Crossing: New Horizons player islands with high prices to unload the huge supply of turnips in time.
One player joked that Gabe563 could be Animal Crossing: New Horizons' first billionaire. Even if they don't have enough turnips to do it in one sale, they can still get an incredible number of watches. If they managed to sell every single one of those turnips at top price, they would end up with nearly 87 million Bells from the effort, for a 74 million Bell profit. It will be interesting to see what the player's final Bell count is when all is said and done, which Gabe563 has said they will share with the community once they complete the effort.
