New Borderlands Code for August 2025 will get you 3 Golden Keys

The gearbox has launched a new campaign in August 2025 which allows fans to take a trio with golden keys over multiple versions of five Borderland game. As is usually the case with Borderland Freebies, this summer offer may be required by redeeming shift codes.

Shift is a digital platform that the gearbox was launched before the publication of Borderlands 2 2012. The service is regularly used to host events with limited time, including Borderland Golden Key giveaways.

If this trend continues, Gearbox Ceo Randy Pitchford has just taken to Twitter to announce another such offer tied to the shift code “SFX3T-JSSJ3-3BTT-J3BJ3-9XWXJ.” Redeem key during the campaign period allows fans to acquire three golden keys in support Borderland Games they choose. The offer will be until next Thursday, August 14, Pitchford said.

According to Game Rant's testing, the code in August 2025 can be redeemed several times, once for each supported combination of one Borderland Games and platform. The campaign covers five titles, including the first three numbered items in the franchise, as well as Small Tina's Wonderland and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. With the only exception of Borderlands: Game of the Year EditionThe recently shared code is valid in the Epic Games Store, Steam, Playstation Store and Xbox Store. Borderlands: Goty Edition Supports all these except the Epic Games store, as the game itself is not available on that platform.
