The series continues to be one of the most popular anime of all time to this day, and finding a replacement for it is quite difficult. Attack on Titan is a story that immediately caught the attention of many anime fans upon its release. Its concept is quite unique, as it is terrible, with man-eating titans. No one is safe in Attack on Titanand the stakes are always high with everyone's lives at stake. As said, Attack on Titan is not the only series with such a concept. demon slayer, a newer series, has something similar. Instead of titans, Demon Slayer have demons who enjoy human flesh. While Demon Slayer is not as dark or deep a series as Attack on Titanit has still risen as one perfect replacement for fans looking for a similar thrill to Attack on Titanas well as equal, if not greater, hype.
Demon Slayer has been particularly strong right now with the release of its latest film, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. The series still has at least a few years left, as two other movies are in the works.
Can Attack on Titan make a comeback?
A spin-off animated series is not impossible
Nothing will really replace Attack on Titan for fans of the series. That being said, there is no confirmed new project being worked on at the moment. However, this does not mean that a return is impossible, or that it will never happen. Attack on Titan is definitely a series with a lot of potential for a spin-off anime.
After all, Attack on Titan already has a prequel manga series, known as “Before the fall.” Although this series has a new character, it would still be interesting to revive the series through it, just like how Vigilantes has done for MHA.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 is out in theaters now. Fans who don't want to wait for the movies to release can check out the manga on Manga Plus. Meanwhile, for the anime, the series currently has 4 anime seasons. These anime seasons can all be found on Crunchyroll. The rest of the series will be animated into movies, and fans will have to wait for the theatrical release to see them, depending on their country.
