I hope my frustrations can give you some entertainment. Please don't take this too seriously. I can only take so much.
A new consolidation is always an exciting time. Since 3DS was launched in 2011, I have pre -ordered each new console from Gamestop and have had zero problems. I have good memories from picking up the consoles, taking them home and checking out the new games with my friends. I could trust gamestop again to get a store Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-order when online proceedings failed, and I have deliberately waiting for the launch day as millions of other Nintendo fans. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bit of a disaster to pick up my Switch 2 order.
Earlier this week I got a call from my local gamestop that explained that since my pre -order was paid in its entirety, I would be in the express line at midnight launch. It all would take a maximum of 15 minutes, Gamestop employed. I could show up at 12 o'clock EST and would hardly have to wait, I was safe. Now my wife has worked late, and so we didn't have dinner until about 30 minutes before I had to leave. I wolved down a pork chop, mashed potatoes with sauce, steamed broccoli, a dinner roll and chewed a mountain consignment.

Nintendo releases Switch 2 Day 1 Update Patch Notes
While Switch 2 is not officially released until June 5, its day-one update is already available, with Nintendo even sharing its Patch notes.
Imagine my surprise When I came to Gamestop and found out that the person I was talking to before was WRONG And you could only get into the priority, fast quick line if you showed up earlier that day and got a special “final” receipt. So I stood there, on the back of the slow line, for over an hour. The bladder screaming. Kidneys probably fail. Surrounded by Bo and Anime Accent. And one of the people who spoke in the anime accent talked, and I don't know the context, but apparently they don't know what Cowboy Bebop is? Talk like they are from the hidden leaf village but don't know Cowboy Bebop?

I finally came in front of the line and there was an employee who kept the door open. He had talked to everyone when they were waiting for their turn to go in. I have social anxiety and one-on-a-call with people personally is honest hell for me, but I thought it would only be a few minutes as it was with everyone else.
Imagine my surprise When the people in front of me start Browse the store For games, and I have to stand there and talk to the guy for 15 minutes. Which, I mean, he was a nice guy, but I had a gut full of notches and pop, and it felt like bugs crawled under my skin and I needed to be over.
Merciful, it was finally my turn to go in. I went through Schpeel with the person behind the counter, and they practically came tears and asked me to register for their warranty and credit card. I declined. They started getting my things together.
Imagine my surprise When they tell me that they Sold The Switch 2 Pro control unit which I pre-ordered together with the console. They didn't even lie and said, oh, Nintendo briefly changed us and did not send enough units. Nope. They said they sold the controller to someone else.
I was second person in a row To pre -order the switch 2 back in April. And for my efforts I lied to, my things had sold out under me and almost died from keeping my bladder. Mario Kart World And killer -app Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Better be worth it.
