But what do these ambitions look like from the other side, from an illegal hero?
Vigilantes is a new strategy for the popular series. In it, even though we do not own a heroic license, our protagonist Haimawari Koichi protects his neighborhood through good deeds, whether it is to clean up the trash or help others find their way. However, vigilantism is banned by the government, which can cause the amateur hero to fall into hot water with the local police and nearby pro heroes.

My hero Academy: Vigilantes, explained
My hero Academia's Vigilantes took the law in his own hands. Who were these underground heroes?
An introduction to the superhuman community
The city needs another type of hero
A lot like Mha's Protagonist Midoriya Izuku, Haimawari Koichi is a sucker for heroism and a fan of the popular pro hero that may all perhaps. The series begins with an introduction to the superhuman community, and much like My hero AcademyTribute is paid to the first child born with a quirk, the luminous child, with Koichi Haimawari, the protagonist, as the narrator.
Similar MHAEmphasis is placed on heroism, the popular profession in the superhero society that villains have exceeded. However, unlike pro heroes, which the government has sanctioned, other, more illegal heroes are voluntarily to run independently. Get the time old question of what heroism means to these vigilantes that strive to become real heroes.
After a sneak look at our new protagonists, we see a furious villain that causes destruction. But number 1 Pro Hero, all Might, rises, quickly dampens the villain and removes him. We then meet our protagonist, Haimawari Koichi, an Avid All May fan, university student and part-time worker. Instead of being submerged in the latest battle, Koichi quickly recycles his calm and rushes to university and shows that even though Koichi has dreams of heroism, reality comes in quickly. When the series starts, there are some differences between it and manganese. But it still allows anime to float seamlessly.
The three muskeys
Unfortunately for Koichi, problems are not far behind because he will soon meet three criminals that give him difficult to encounter them. In an attempt to blackmail Koichi, Kugisaki quickly pours out his drink and requires him to be coarse and apologize. Here we are introduced to Koichis Quirk -Glid and Glide, a weak review but good to avoid despite its slow speed. For Koichi's badger, slide and slide, to be activated, he must touch an area in three places. In this way, Koichi can travel by slipping, but at a slow pace similar to a bicycle. While he uses Quirk to escape the three criminals, Koichi receives some comments about his badger. Although it is comfortable, it is not fast and seems scary, “almost like a cockroach.”
Shortly after, when evening goes in, we meet our other protagonist, pop steps, performed on a lamp post for their loyal followers. Koichi thus points out her performance; Although her music is not so memorable and her lightning makeup hides her face, she shines brightly as she plays. When he looks at her, Koichi also comments on how nice a jumping property would be after getting tough comments about his badger. He can feel envy for her digging as he regrets his own, which others are looking down on. When he uses his badger in an alley, he slides and reflects on the injustice of life and draws a parallel with Deku, who expressed the same feeling when he was born in lace -free. Problems arrive when three criminals appear at Koichi's convenience store job, where he quickly strikes for previous disrespect.
It's time to play hero
With his suit dressed Koichi put back out into the streets
After his former beaten and complaints about the police failure to save him, Koichi rushes home and changes his special costume to fully use his screams. Although unofficial quirk use is illegal, pro heroes need licenses to fight crime, and Koichi still helps needy citizens. This is the first case where we see how the hero community has failed with its civilians and shows cracks in its structure.
During its heroic spree, the Koichi returns released objects to its owners and help civilians with directions, to which we see a como by Midoriya Izukus mothers when she was narrower, indicating that the series began at much earlier time than MHA And recycles various objects and thus clean the city. While he is recognized for his actions, he cannot help but feel ecstatic about his good deeds.
Koichi enters an alley and meets POP steps and marks his first official meeting. Here we learn about Koichi's ambitions as a hero. He wears all the man -inspired clothes to mimic him and serve society. Later they meet the three criminals again, but this time Pop Step accidentally meet Kugisaki Soga.
They quickly hear pop steps and threaten to reveal her face online. While Koichi weakly tries to stop them, he hesitate and thinks it's not his business. When he sees Pop Step Cry and feels offended by their mockery against his All Might Hoodie, he tries a surprise attack but is soon caught. Knuck leaders arrive to save the day and overpower the three. While rescuing pop steps and Koichi, he also controls the discoloration of the crime tongues. Marketing is the first time the three main characters interact with each other.
What it takes to become a hero
After the mixture, Koichi tries to escape and wants to avoid more trouble. During this time, knuckle leaders are trying to recruit him and promise to make him a hero. Although Koichi initially rejects and claims that he is not interested, looks knuckles through his lies and notes that a person who respects all power and likes to help others cannot really be uninterested in becoming a hero. At this, Koichi is much different from a typical wild hero. Unlike MHAWhere Deku quickly jumps in to save others, Koichi needs more koax from his shell.
Koichi debated becoming a hero, but when he saw Pop in danger after Knuckleduster's speech, he acted and revealed his “Soul of a Hero.” He rejected Knuckleduster's help and looked at him as crazy. They returned to Koichi's apartment to make it their base. This highlights Koichi's internal struggle; Previous complaints and his perceived weak quirk prevents his desire to be a hero and create a dynamic character.
Soon, the three criminals are approaching of a new character that offers a “great medicine” circulating in the city. This is the drug Knuckledusters seeks; It increases property but weakens reason. Waste showing signs of use with black colored tongues. This highlights a deficiency in the hero community: when civilians take trigger, they become villains and terrorize others. Police and heroes respond slowly and leave remediation to Vigilantes. Vigilant also demonstrates where trigger originated as it was shown in My hero Academy As a typical difficult drug to fight because all civilians could get hold of it.
“Powerful properties” and “pro hero license.” These things have nothing to do with true justice.
Koichi reluctantly joins the knuckle leaders, which aims to find the source of the trigger drug by confronting suspected individuals. Pop Step is displayed, questioning their actions and scolds knuckles for neglecting her. She also offers valuable information during their search. Their efforts are interrupted when knuckle joints try to force information from a liaison, but Koichi and Pop Step's attempt to intervene lead to a meeting with the popular Aizawa Shota, the underground hero. In this scene we really see how unpleasant knuckle leaders are and how much he really wants to get the trigger drug from the streets. When our older heroes portray themselves as respectable and aspiring, knuckle joints, with a robust look and cigarette in the hand, are a big new hold of what it means to be a hero, a direct parallel to all power.
A lot like MHAThe series has a good mix of comic moments with action, animated beautifully with onomatopoeia to give additional effects, which creates more depth for the section. The characters are also refreshing when they differ from the usual hero-wannabe, show more depth and roughness to their personalities, since they are not held back by the law, which means that they can act as they wish, do not need public approval. With fast action and a clear goal at the beginning of the series, the series has made a pretty good start when it comes to establishing itself.
