The straw hats eventually discover that Hachi is really not so bad after all considering that he decides to help guide them in Sabaody and even spray them up some bowls with his famous kitchen. Hachi has very simple ambitions in life, which makes it easy to relate to his character, even though he is a fish man.

Luffy is a protagonist who will rush into a dangerous and chaotic situation with a gigantic smile on the face. The reason for this is simply his love for adventure. Luffy's final goal may be to find a bit of treasure, but he also explores the world's wonders along the way. Sure, Lffy's elastic forces may not be as realistic, but his endless curiosity is a very human trait that many parts.

Zoro's dream of becoming the strongest sword man who lives is one that he cannot easily achieve. Zoro is constantly pushing himself to be strong enough to handle someone that the straw hats come over on his dangerous trips, but with that said he does not always shoot on all cylinders.
It doesn't matter how simple and clear path can be, Zoro will always succeed in finding a way to get lost. While his terrible direction of direction is a trait that Zoro shares with many fans, it is also easy to relate to his silent and stoic personality and prefers to hang back and let the other members of the crew talk while capturing a quick nap.

Sanji
Sanji may be a little too selfless for his own good

Sanji has a heart of gold, but he is someone who always has his mind on the problems of others rather than his own. As a child, Sanji was isolated and locked away in a cell with no other than a small rat to keep him company.
