Powerful

Yang is a character who accompanies Cecil's journey for a short period of time. This donut hits like a truck, as you'd expect from anyone who embodies this legendary job in a Final Fantasy game. The fact that he doesn't need to wear the most expensive gear to unleash this damage is a testament to Yang's effectiveness as a character.

What makes him even more desirable in a combat scenario is his Kick, which can be used to hit any enemy for significant damage. It makes grinding very easy as players use this all-hit move to decimate enemies in an instant before being rewarded with a decent chunk of experience.

Technically, everyone is in Final Fantasy 8 qualifies here because of how broken the Junction system is. But it's only when players use 100 units of a powerful spell to buff Squall's strength and unleash the patented Lion Heart Limit Break that they'll see how overwhelmed this character is with a single cast of Aura. Unlike other party members, players can also time a trigger press to increase the damage of his regular attack every turn, which is something fans should master to make him a reliable damage dealer in battle.
