“What you owe me can never be repaid with money”
Jotaro's morality shines through during his battle with Steely Dan
-
Stardust Crusaders Episode 17
Jotaro says this specific line during his epic match against Steely Dan. After Dio's minions attempt to defeat Jotaro by infiltrating his body using his unique stand, The Lovers, Jotaro eventually manages to get him up and gives him this quick advice before hitting him with a barrage of punches from Star Platinum.
Jotaro may seem like a pretty cold-hearted guy, but he still has a solid sense of morality, which is shown when he refuses to take Dan's money to let him off the hook. To save his own mother from certain death, Jotaro must fight many tough opponents before finally reaching Dio, all achieved through his own perseverance and self-sacrifice. Therefore, it's a line that reminds viewers of Jotaro's humanity that only rarely shines through.

“Once a life is taken, it can never come back. No matter the stand, it can't take it back”
The loss of his friends made Jotaro value life more than ever
-
Diamond Is Unbreakable Episode 2
This line is admittedly a bit ironic given that there are future Stands after part 4 that can manipulate life in some ways, but it still speaks volumes about Jotaro's mentality, and how it has changed after the events with Dio in Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro knows all too well that the Stands can have immense power, given that he is the host of Star Platinum, but as strong as they are, being able to cheat death was never seen as a possibility during his adventures.

Meanwhile, Jotaro lost two very close friends throughout his mission in Part 3, which has seemingly made him see life itself as something that should be preserved while it still can. It's also one of the few times where Jotaro speaks with a calm and somber tone to his voice, showing how much these deaths have affected him.

“I came to Egypt to save my mother, so if I bet on her soul, she won't complain”
An absurd line that sums up Jotaro's complex relationship with his mother
-
Stardust Crusaders Episode 35
Jotaro has an interesting relationship with his mother, to put it mildly. Although he can often be seen insulting his mother and getting annoyed at her affection for him, deep down, he also cares deeply for her and embarks on his mission to Egypt entirely for her sake. His complex bond with her is highlighted during Jotaro's duel with D'arby where he decides to put his own mother's soul on the line to put enough pressure on his opponent to reveal information about Dio's Stand.
A risky decision to be sure, but one that ends up actually working as D'arby is forced to drop all the souls he had acquired after believing he has no chance of winning the match with such high stakes. Still, this is an outlandish line that only a character from a comic as crazy as this could say with a straight face.

“I Can't Beat the S*** Out Of You Without Getting Closer”
Jotaro's unwavering reaction to Dio shows how fearless he is
-
Stardust Crusaders Episode 46
Jotaro's standoff with Dio, and the few lines of dialogue that accompany it before the two go at it, is one of the most iconic moments in the story JoJo's. While Dios “So you approach me?” is a quote that no fan can ever forget, Jotaro's raw response is just as memorable thanks to how blunt and badass it is.
Considering how long the build up was to these two characters coming face to face, seeing them finally talk to each other with all the disdain in the world makes these little lines of dialogue all the more impactful. Jotaro was smart to use those specific words to get under Dio's skin, but they also show how fearless the former of the two actually is, even when facing a villain as powerful as Dio.

“It's a nice watch. But I'm going to break it so you can never see the time on it again”
Jotaro's unique way of telling Kira that he is about to hit him with Star Platinum
-
Diamond Is Unbreakable Episode 24
Jotaro has a rather unique way of telling someone he's about to beat them silly, a prime example being this line he says when he approaches Kira in part 4. After randomly complimenting his watch, Jotaro follows up the one with a threat that immediately puts Kira on edge, making it clear that the man who says nice things about his jewelry isn't quite as sincere as he seems.

When it comes to the main characters of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, fans may be curious about these little details about these characters.
This quote reminds viewers of how random the dialogue is JoJo's can be, constantly supersedes expectations to create some of the funniest lines of dialogue in any anime series. While those unfamiliar with JoJo's may see the first half of this line as a genuine compliment, only fans of the series will be aware of the true context.

“My position will be the judge”
Jotaro may not be a law-abiding citizen, but he's not above taking the law into his own hands
-
Stardust Crusaders Episode 3
This epic line is said during Jotaro's monologue when fighting Kakyoin near the beginning of Stardust Crusaders. During the said monologue, Jotaro explains that many would call him a “punk” given that he often disobeys the law, but at the end of his speech, he takes it all back to say that his very own estate, Star Platinum, is the only one who can judge others who deny the rules.
In this case, he's referring to Kakyoin's very own stand, Hierophant Green, which can control people, meaning it can't technically be held accountable for its actions. Thankfully, Jotaro was there to legislate the law the only way he knew how, by beating the dick out of Kakyoin to knock some sense into him and free him from Dio's control.

“ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA”
Jotaro's iconic song that rings out when Star Platinum is unleashed
-
Stardust Crusaders Episode 3
Jotaro and the gang face plenty of unique opponents in their quest to take down Dio, but many of them suffer the same fate: being blasted to pieces by Jotaro's Star Platinum. After explaining where the villain went wrong, Jotaro will usually decide to end a battle by letting his Stand run free while shouting the chant “ORA” over and over to hype up the attack.
Every time Jotaro unleashes his iconic 'Ora', fans can expect to see a thrilling take down of the opponent in the most brutal way possible. This quote hits even harder when Jotaro says it after not fighting for a while, like the few times he shouts it out loud during Part 4.
1
“Yare Yare Daze”
A catchphrase that highlights Jotaro's disinterested and reserved personality
Roughly translating to “Good grief” in English, this is a line Jotaro says several times throughout his mission to stop Dio during Part 3, so much so that it basically becomes his catchphrase. Unlike the giddy Joseph or heroic Jonathan, Jotaro can come across as rather disinterested and reserved, causing him to be easily annoyed when people show him too much attention or simply get on his nerves.
However, as Jotaro grows stronger and hones his relationship with Star Platinum, he also begins to use this quote when facing the many opponents he encounters as he travels the world as a simple way to mock their inferiority. This is a line that has ultimately become synonymous with Jotaro for how perfectly it sums up his effortlessly cool and calculated personality.
