A few months ago, Netherrealm Studios announced that it released a definitive edition of its latest battle game, Mortal Kombat 1for current GEN platforms. This new version of the title, confirmed Netherrealm, would include all its large DLCs after launch, such as Khao's Reigns Expansion Pack, and would be available at the reduced price of $ 69.99. Normally a trait like this would be celebrated by fans to make Mortal Kombat 1DLCs available at a lower than regular price. However, the discussions about the game's definitive edition have been anything but positive.
The use of the word “definitely” in Mortal Kombat 1: Definite edition immediately called some alarm bells in the wider Mk The community, which many were worried that the name of this edition suggested that the game would no longer receive new content. Sure enough, Netherrealm Studios confirmed just a few days later that it ended the support for Mortal Kombat 1And that it did not actively develop any additional DLC or major updates for the game. Many Deadly Kombat Fans were, surprisingly, quite upset about this news. Not only were they disappointed that the game's life was cut so short, they were also frustrated that Netherrealm left it in a rather undercooked state. Nevertheless, however, the future is for Mortal Kombat 1 Is not completely bleak, as there is one thing that fans can still look forward to.
Netherrealm aims to make Mortal Kombat 1 the most balanced game in the series
Netherrealm Studios Creative Director, Ed Boon, published a thread on Twitter a few days ago, where he shared a bunch of news about Mortal Kombat 1. Although he and his company have largely moved on to other projects, Boon confirmed that MK1which has sold over 6.2 million units on all platforms, will still receive new balance updates in the coming months. He even went so that he says that Netherrealm intends to do Mortal Kombat 1 The most balanced game in the franchise so far.
MK1's latest balance tag made some adjustments to LiU Kang and other characters
The same day as ed boon made this post, a new balance tag for Mortal Kombat 1 was released on all platforms. While the reception to this note has been somewhat positive, many Mortal Kombat 1 Fans are disappointed that Netherrealm made no more changes to the game. Some players hoped the studio would give MK1 A larger meta-shaking and potentially iron out some of the deficiencies in their camera system. Fortunately, the developers at Netherrealm are interested in getting feedback from society. Ed Boon recently published a tweet, actually and asked players which four fighters they know need Buffs the most.
Despite its support that ends, MK1 will still remain relevant in the field of competition
Netherrealm's game has usually not been known to have great balancing. Even if Mortal Kombat 1 is not almost as bad as some of its predecessors in this regard, the last records in Deadly Kombat Series have all suffered significant balance problems at launch. While Netherrealm has often released patches to deal with the player's feedback, it seems that the company wants to take this aspect of its games more seriously in the future. Mortal Kombat 1 Will never receive the long -term support it needed, but at least it is nice that Netherrealm aims to keep it relevant in the competition area with these balancing updates.
