More Battlefield 6 players completed the campaign than you think

The vast majority of Battlefield 6 players purchased the game for multiplayer, but a surprising number have also completed the single-player campaign. Battlefield 6 launched in October to great success, receiving mostly positive reviews and proving to be a huge sales success for EA. Hundreds of thousands of people continue to play Battlefield 6 on Steam daily, and there are ambitious plans for the game's post-launch support.

Battlefield-6-key-art-1

Battlefield 6 has some serious momentum behind it despite the various controversies and criticisms it has faced, and it looks like EA will keep that momentum going strong. Battlefield 6 Season 1 added new maps and coincided with the debut of the game's battle royale mode, and it will be exciting to see what 2026 has in store for the first-person shooter. But while fans are almost universally focused on Battlefield 6 multiplayer experience, a surprising number have also finished the single player campaign.

Battlefield 6 Campaign Completion rate by platform

  • 10.53% – Xbox

  • 9.4% – Steam

  • 9.3% – PS5

Many Battlefield 6 reviews criticized the single-player campaign as the weak link in the game's suite of modes, with a lackluster story and a general lack of originality. i called it”Battlefield– flavored Call of Duty” and came away largely unimpressed. Despite the criticism leveled at the campaign, many players have managed to complete it, with 9.3% on PS5, 9.4% on Steam and 10.53% on Xbox earning the achievement/trophy for beating the campaign.

Battlefield 6 campaign how many missions

Now maybe 10% not act like a lot, but it's honestly more than I expected. Take Battlefield 1 performance statistics for example. According to Steam DB, only 6.5% of Battlefield 1 players managed to beat that game's campaign on normal difficulty. I expected Battlefield 6the campaign completion rate is about the same, and I'm very surprised that it's close to 10% on PS5 and Steam and already double digits on Xbox. By comparison, only 1.5% of Call of Duty player hits Black Ops 6s promotion on Steam. 2022 Modern Warfare 2 reboot, which introduced the idea of a unified Call of Duty HQ and may be a better comparison, has a completion rate of 5.8%. Keep in mind that it's still not a 100% fair comparison because Call of Duty umbrella is all players from 2022 Modern Warfare 2 through 2025 Black Ops 6and it can have a significant impact on statistics.

What makes this even more surprising is the fact that Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is free to play, which had the potential to throw the game's completion stats into chaos. Even if Battlefield 6 BR can be played standalone, it's technically part of BF6 the ecosystem and its achievements are lumped together with those of the base game. This means that either BR did not attract many people who did not already own Battlefield 6or a lot more people who own the game decided to see the campaign through to the end than I would have guessed.

Battlefield 6 campaign npcs graphics fans not happy

It is worth noting that there are special Battlefield 6 rewards attached to the campaign, and this may therefore explain the higher than expected completion rate. But however it turns out, it will be interesting to see how Battlefield 6s performance stats continue to fluctuate, especially as more players get their hands on the game.
