This decline in players coincides with a large review bombing campaign that saw Monster Hunter Wilds Release to “overwhelmingly negative” recent reviews on Steam. While the fan reaction comes from several issues, many complaints focus on the game's technical state, with thousands of users criticizing its poor performance across a wide range of hardware configurations, including those that exceed Capcom's recommended system requirements. While developers often improve performance through updates by release, some Monster Hunter Wilds Players claim that the game's technical state has actually worsened over time at the end. At the same time, vocal fans have also criticized the slow update damage and what they see as a limited flow of new content.
