Throne and Liberty
More content coming in 2026
2026 will be a good year for Throne and Liberty as this MMO will add a few things to its already full repertoire. Starting Q1 2026, with Tower of Temptation (another PvE Dungeon), with lots of interesting rewards and challenges. Plus, balance changes to builds, weapons and PvP.
Plus, Server vs. Server PvP War events are coming early in 2026 (according to the roadmap provided by the developers), which will turn a designated server into a PvP on a scale never before seen in an MMO (which will probably be brilliant). This game will also release a new Raid later this year, so fingers crossed there will be Throne and Liberty for a long time.

The ashes of creation
Where Old School RPG and new MMO gimmicks merge
The ashes of creation is one of the most anticipated titles in the MMO world, and despite still being in Early Access, it is rapidly growing in popularity and player base. With a community-driven in-game economy and a progression system that combines classic RPG features with modern takes on MMO PvEvP gimmicks, this title shows real potential even in its immature stage.
Plus, with 8 classes to choose from, and a multi-class system which allows players to combine them to create 64 unique subclassesthis game is among the best of the best when it comes to construction art. Ashes of Creation may have a steep learning curve and a hard crafting system, but that's what makes it all the more rewarding once players start learning how to play.

Where winds meet
A breathtaking Wuxia adventure MMO
The global edition for Where winds meet (WWM) was huge not only because of its stability but also because of its breathtaking next-gen graphics, and merging of flashy wuxia battle, incredible animationsand challenging enemies. WWM is a massive game, with tons of incredible adventures to live and a classic story of love, loss and revenge to tell.
With tons of martial arts and weapons to try, it continues to draw players in despite its gacha-like in-game economy. But most of the microtransactions are dedicated to cosmetics and some goods that are paid for fast. The rest can be easily grinded through the many PvE activities in the game.

Cinder City
If the division and the ghost in the shell had a love child
Developed by BigFire Games and published by NCSoft, Cinder City is a strange game that looks like an amalgamation of Tom Clancy's: The division, Resident Eviland Ghost in the Shell: Detached complex. With next-gen graphics, its gameplay trailer shows off an array of explosions that would make Michael Bay blush.
But most of all it looks like an interesting proposition, a cyberpunk MMO set in a dystopian future with a zombie outbreak in the mix could work really well. It is believed to be released sometime in 2026, at an unconfirmed date.

Broke online
Had a step back, but it's ready to go for more
-
Developed by: Happy Cauldron Games
-
Type: ARPG MMO – Community Driven Economy/ Seamless Open-World
-
Platforms: PC (standalone launcher)
-
Release window: late February/early March 2026 (relaunch)
Broke online is an indie project born from the love of classic MMOs like Ultima and ARPGs like the Diablo series, so their influence is notorious in the game. It had an initial phase of Alpha Access during which the community-driven world really flourished.
But merger player-driven economy with PvPvE in a seamless open world is not easy, so the developers had to take a step back and rethink a bit before its relaunch, which is scheduled to happen soon (between February and March 2026). All in all, it's a great game, with an interesting economy and settlement system, and clan-ruled kingdoms and citiesso heavy on the PvP content as well.

So it's no surprise that rumors of an early 2026 release are going around like wildfire. But since Digital Extremes hasn't confirmed or denied a potential launch for this year, those eager to try this amazing game should cross their fingers and keep waiting.
