During the time jump, Boruto Uzumaki trained with Sasuke Uchiha and reached a very high level of power. His overall strength was further fueled when he trained with Kashin Koji and gained multiple abilities from different versions of him across multiple timelines.
Still, Boruto couldn't beat the likes of Jura. Now have though he has awakened the power of Momoshiki Otsutsuki. By making a deadly deal with Momoshiki, Boruto has brought out his true power. Essentially, Boruto Uzumaki has offered his body to Momoshiki to control in exchange for getting rid of Jura by using his powers.
While fans initially did not know if Momoshiki accepted this proposal, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 29, it was made clear that an agreement was made between the two. After this incident, Boruto now uses Momoshiki's power freely.

Boruto gaining access to Momoshiki's full power has given him the ability to absorb all forms of chakra. It has also given him access to the Byakugan, which is seen in Chapter 29 of the manga. With his Byakugan, along with his Karma abilities, Boruto is now a monster.
It must also be remembered that Boruto is currently only using the first stage of his Karma. In the second stage, which is when Boruto will grow back his horn, he will reach a new level of power that cannot even be matched by the likes of Mamushi. It's only a matter of time before fans find out about Boruto's true power.
