However, Marvel Snap reworked Thanos once again by making a new update. Instead of taking place in the opening hand, Thanos will now be drawn at the start of the game. This means that a Thanos deck will have Mad Titan as an extra card in the player's hand.

It has also been said that some adjustments to the Infinity Stones were considered, but the developers decided to do it one step at a time so as not to disturb the game's landscape too much.
