The format changed again in 2025 when Mojang began hosting two Minecraft Live presentations each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. A trailer for the presentation was revealed, which featured some of the new versions of baby mobs that are coming Minecraft. Additionally, the developer noted that fans would get a look at upcoming gameplay drops during the event, along with behind-the-scenes content, guest appearances, and more “exciting stuff.” For those who want to listen, the presentation will be available on the game's official YouTube and Twitch channels, along with Minecraft.net.

What will be shown at the first Minecraft Live 2026?

It remains to be seen what specifically will be showcased at Minecraft Live on March 21, but fans should get their first look at the second game release for 2026. If things go similarly to the 2025 edition of Minecraft Live, this first major update of the year could be released very shortly after the event, possibly before the end of March.
