At the end of the previous chapter of the manga, fans saw Yuka Okkotsu appears on the battlefield in Shinjuku and immediately summons Mahoraga with her Ten Shadows technique. To avoid harm, Yuka hid in the shadows, and Dabura, who was involved in the ritual, became the target of the divine general. Dabura immediately impaled Mahoraga with his powerful beams of light. In the upcoming chapter of the manga, fans will definitely get to see Mahoraga take a bunch more attacks from Dabura. Each time he is attacked, the wheel will spin and Mahoraga will continue the alignment process.
With each spin of the wheel, he will get used to Dabura's attacks and that is where Dabura can struggle. Fans are very well aware of the fact that Dabura is a very powerful wizard and that he can potentially finish off Mahoraga in a single blow. However, it is highly unlikely that Dabura knows the mechanics of how Mahoraga works. He probably doesn't know that taking out Mahoraga involves using an almost nuclear-like attack that completely hollows out.
Dabura using small attacks against Mahoraga, just like Sukuna did in Shibuya, could be his undoing in JJK Modulo Chapter 16, as Mahoraga would continue to adapt to all of his light-based attacks and then deal with them effectively.
Mahoraga will give Dabura a lot of trouble
In JJK Modulo chapter 16 it is highly likely that Mahoraga will go on to adapt some of Dabura's cursed technology. Dabura's lightsaber probably won't work on Mahoraga anymore and he'll realize this right away. Dabura will most likely change his attack pattern in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 just to give Mahoraga some more trouble.

After four years, Jujutsu Kaisen has officially been dethroned by a new anime
Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest anime series, but it was just released in theaters.
Of course, Mahoraga will take more hits, but it will also give him extra alignment and limit the scope of what Dabura can do in combat going forward. No matter how the fans see it, Dabura will face a lot of trouble in this fight, although it feels like Mahoraga is taking the brunt of the damage at the moment.

Some of Dabura's cursed technique is still unknown, and it will likely be revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 and the chapters that will follow. At the same time, fans should also keep in mind that Dabura's cursed technique will most likely allow him to impart this murderous intent trait to other elements around him, which would make him very overpowered.
Having a punching bag like Mahoraga in battle that can adapt, heal and counter any attack would be the perfect opportunity for everyone to use their full skill set. Gege has the opportunity to show fans what Dabura can do in battle and how he compares to the likes of Gojo and Sukuna in battle. In that regard Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 16 will be crucial in understanding the true strength of Dabura Karaba and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how he deals with Mahoraga this week.
Jujutsu Kaisen's sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is featured in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series is set 68 years into the future, after the events of the Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, grandchildren of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 16 will be released on December 21, 2025.
