Being one of the shorter missions in the game and completely revolving around the Seed Vault in Stella Montisyou can start a run with a free charge and extract using the Airshaft right next to your targets. You can also give up if you don't spawn near the seed vault, as you won't lose any items from your own inventory.

There is an alternate exit from the seed vault in case a ripper is guarding the main entrance and you can't get out once you're inside.

When you reach the seed vault, you'll access the researcher's log, which is located just outside the vault's entrance. Interact with this panel to complete the first objective. Your second objective is to find the hidden key. For this, go west and turn left to find the researcher's clothes hanging nearby. Search it to get the key.

With the key in your possession, go back to the entrance to the seed vault and open it if someone hasn't already. To open it you need a battery cell, which is randomly placed around the vault area but is never far and should be within a 50 meter radius. Once you find it, carry it and use it to open the door.

Enter and continue straight, ignoring the vaults to the left and right which contain various seeds that you can use to buy items from Celeste. Open the Seed Vault box in front, which releases Official suspension documentation which you must take back to Shani. Doing so completes the quest and rewards you with:
