Horikoshi's answer: No! It wasn't! I originally planned that it would end with deco becoming a teacher and said “you can be a hero!”. After using their powers but looks completely confident … so. The reason it changed is that this series was no longer a story just about Deku and one for all. In this series I explored “What does it mean to be the biggest hero?” And the answer that this manga came about is that it means “reaching a hand to others”, so I thought I would put the answer in writing and that was how the last monologue in Chapter 430 became what it is now.
Why my Hero Academia New End is better
