For many anime and manga fans, Jujutsu Kaisen boasts one of the most complex power systems in modern dark shounen. Some, on the other hand, feel that Jujutsu Kaisen's power system is too vague, with rules, conditions, and exceptions not always clearly explained. Undeniably, the intricate power system is part of what does Jujutsu Kaisen stands out among its rivals.

Now, series creator Gege Akutami expands the power system in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulointroduces new ways for wizards to exercise their abilities. While fans already know about Cursed Energy, Cursed Techniques, Domain Expansion, and so on, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo gives us Rolloluca, an alien version of cursed energy which can be converted into all forms of energy through a special ore.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has been incredible so far, especially in the world building department. While the original JJK series stuck to familiar locations and established characters, the sequel expands the lore with new faces, races, locations, and even a new version of cursed energy. Fans now get a broader view of the world, and the story feels larger in scale.

On that note, there are aliens in it Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. They are called Simurians, and all have third eyes, which serve as the source of their cursed energy called Rolloluca. With Rolloluca as their core, Simurians can probably do the same as Jujutsu wizards, from offensive attacks to defensive and utility based jujutsu applications.

Currently is Rolloluca, or the cursed energy of the aliensseems more destructive than typical Jujutsu wizards. Yet this is only a first impression, and the true potential and limits of their alien cursed energy remain a mystery. Also, the current generation of wizards in Japan pales in comparison to the old, which may explain why an alien Rolloluca seems so overwhelmingly powerful.

The Simurians clash over valuable ores called Mul

As revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9, a special ore called Mul is found on the Simurian planetwhich serves as a valuable resource fueling conflicts between Rumelians and discounters. Mul ores can transmute Rolloluca into all forms of energy, giving the Simurian clans that have large reserves and quarries the ability to amplify cursed energy in unprecedented ways.

While the original series attempted to use Gojo Satoru's cursed energy to power a country, JJK Modulo brings the concept to life with the introduction of Mul ores and the trade of Japanese Jujutsu wizards with high levels of cursed energy. Fans have long speculated about these events, and the latest chapters bring those theories to life. But there are still many unanswered questions about the consequences of exploiting wizards, as well as their long-term impact.

For now, Mul ores are vital to the Simurians, and Deskuntes pursues the Rumelians for their considerable reserves hidden in Naunax. Should they reveal the current location of the alien refugees on Earth, it would not be surprising if humanity becomes embroiled in the ongoing conflict. In other words, war can happen at any time.

Among the Simurians, the manga establishes Maru and Cross' Rolloluca as exceptional, showing that when enhanced, the purity of their cursed energy surpasses even that of the Mul ores. Based on Jabaloma's expression, this is a good thing, indicating that their immense power is something to be respected and used wisely.
