Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 9 will reveal Higuruma Hiromi's strength

Ever since the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 8, fans have been eagerly waiting to see Hiromi Higuruma in action. The Wizard made a strong first impression on audiences, which is why there is so much anticipation. They won't have to wait long, though Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 9 will focus on Itadori Yuji Vs. Hiromi Higuruma.

Itadori and Higuruma crossed paths for the first time in the eighth episode. The latter had become famous throughout the colonies because of his highlights. Higuruma, along with Hajime Kashimo, was the only person who had managed to score more than 100 points in the Culling Game thus far. Since Kashimo had 200 points, Kinji Hakari and Panda decided to head to Tokyo Colony No. 2 to fight him. They had concluded that Kashimo was stronger than Higuruma, so Hakari decided to deal with him.

Itadori and Megumi decided to head to Tokyo Colony No. 1 to find Higuruma. The two had planned to stay together as it would give them a better chance of beating Higuruma. Unfortunately for them, Kenjaku had taken a countermeasure to prevent people from banding together. As soon as Itadori and Megumi entered the barrier, they were teleported to different locations.

Itadori had to fight and beat two newly awakened wizards. After quickly dispatching them, Itadori was guided to Higuruma's place by a boy who had known him since middle school. When Itadori met Higuruma, Itadori tried to convince him, but to no avail. Higuruma had been let down by the justice system far too many times, which is why he liked the Culling Game. Not because people were killed, but rather because of the rules. After failing to convince Higuruma, Itadori prepared to fight.

Just as Itadori got ready to fight, Higuruma used his domain expansion. It proved that Higuruma wasn't willing to waste too much time on another combatant. Since the episode ended there, fans didn't get the opportunity to see what Higuruma's domain was capable of. But the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 9 preview revealed a few tidbits.

For starters, it seems that everyone trapped within the domain is being judged by a Shikigami called Judgeman. The target must present an argument, and their fate rests on it. Inside the domain, the person's cursed energy is also affected. It is reasonable to assume that the victim cannot use cursed techniques, giving Higuruma a huge advantage. While Itadori's cursed energy is affected by the domain, it's worth mentioning that Higuruma was quite surprised by the former's determination. Itadori has always been physically gifted, which is why he's a threat even if he doesn't have cursed energy.

Based on the preview, it appears that Itadori loses the first trial, but he asks for another chance. Unfortunately, the preview didn't reveal any more details, so viewers will have to wait until JJK Season 3 Episode 9 is released to find out about Itadori's fate. However, there is a good chance that the hero will get a new trial.

Megumi Fushiguro is in trouble

While Itadori has her hands full with Higuruma, Megumi has to deal with Reggie's group. Fans may recall that Megumi was deliberately misled by Remi. She tricked Megumi and took him to Reggie. The latter seems to be a strong fighter, so Megumi has his work cut out for him. Thankfully, Megumi is a capable fighter who has taken down many powerful foes in the past. Although Megumi is not as physically gifted as Itadori, he is much more intelligent. He even managed to figure out Kirara's cursed technique in just a few minutes. So he won't go down easily.
