Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo introduces Masaki Takeda as a new Class 1 wizard
Masaki Takeda fought Yuji Itadori earlier

Masaki Takeda's skills are on par with a level 1 wizard, according to Tsurugi.

Masaki Takeda ran away from Yuji Itadori to survive.
Masaki Takeda, otherwise known as Masayoshi, is the newest Class 1 wizard in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. At first glance, he looks harmless and vulnerable due to his youthful exterior, but behind his unassuming appearance hides a cunning and sadistic elderly curse user who can overwhelm the three main characters in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo in a fight.
Judging by Masaki's older appearance, he probably belongs to the same generation as the characters in the original series. And speaking of the characters from Jujutsu KaisenMasaki even ran into Yuji Itadori before. Although his experience with Yuji is not fully revealed, the fact that it was the only time he had to flee just to survive suggests that Masaki is a wizard not to be underestimated.
True enough, Masaki's skills and abilities are on par with level 1 wizards. He could have been an asset to the Jujutsu community with his impressive skills and abilities, but time and age took away his softness and turned him into a ruthless and terrifying curse user whose methods are as unforgiving as his power.
Masaki Takeda uses Shikigami in Battle
Masaki Takeda overpowers Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu
Masaki Takeda's shikigami looks like a tripod from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with its unique design and stylish and deadly attacks, much to the surprise of fans. Also the name of Masaki's technique, Maternal Wraith's Fury: Marmalade Boyshowcases the unique synergy between Masaki and his Guardian Spirit, allowing him to overwhelm opponents and control the battlefield to his advantage.
Armed with deadly needles and wire, Masaki and his Guardian Spirit simultaneously overpower Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu. With his impeccable shapeshifting abilities, combined with the Guardian Spirit's attacks, Masaki executes flawless combos as if his needles move as an extension of his will. Additionally, he is intelligent and strategic, capable of outsmarting Tsurugi and Yuka.
Saving a life feels no different than taking a life. It will not touch you at all.— Masaki Takeda to Tsurugi Okkotsu
If only an unconscious Maru hadn't intervened in Masaki's fight with the Okkotsu siblings, he likely would have defeated Yuka and Tsurugi without much difficulty. Fighting a powerful alien whose cursed technology rivals his own and exudes the same terrifying aura as Yuji Itadori proves too much for Masaki, especially as he struggles to maintain control of his Guardian Spirit while confronting Maru. Still, it's impressive how Masaki survived Maru's simultaneous attacks and finally escaped.
Masaki Takeda is weaker than most class 1 wizards
Masaki Takeda is Class 1, but senile
The wizards in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are weaker than the wizards from the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, and Masaki Takeda is no exception. Compared to former 1st level wizards such as Nanami Kento, Aoi Todo, Mei Mei, and Masamichi Yaga, Masaki falls short, as his cursed energy and raw strength, while impressive and deadly, cannot fully compete with the skill and adaptability of former 1st level wizards, at least for now.
Also, Masaki Takeda has grown old and senile, and this senility can compromise his control of his Shikigami against powerful opponents, much like how Maru completely overpowered him with his Cursed Technique. Fans even believe that Masaki suffers from dementia, which could explain his erratic behavior and occasional breakdowns during his fights with his sibling Okkotsu. Still, Masaki is still stronger than Yuka and Tsurugiconfirming his status as a 1st class wizard.
