Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo finally reveals the power of Dabura

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has had a great start and it wouldn't be easy to say that this story is already shocking all the fans of the series. Gee Akutamiwhose story is usually rooted more in battles and less in world building, has completely flipped the script in his sequel manga and showed everyone what a truly phenomenal story he can write.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is more focused on the social issues that surround peopleand at the same time it has been shown to have great world building so far. That's not to say the series doesn't have powerful characters. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has a few very strong next generation wizardsby whom Yuka Okkotsu and Tsurugi take the spotlight. But that's it The alien race of the Simurians which is truly among the strongest. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is now confirmed to have a new strongestand it is none other than Dabura, one of the Deskunte. Gege Akutami recently gave fans a glimpse of Dabura's powersand it's pretty clear to see that he's a monster in his own right.

Dabura is the new strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

His power surpasses even Dura

From the very beginning, the fans knew it Dabura would be strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen Moduloand it's pretty clear to see that in the latest chapter of the manga. Dabura's overwhelming strength was shown in battle against Dura, the man known to be the strongest of the Rumelians. The two had to fight to the death, and the loser would have most of his land taken, which meant that neither of them had any option but to fight.

To make matters worse, Dabura's sister was taken hostage of his people, so even if he didn't want to fight his friend Dura, he had no choice. In the end, the battle was extremely one-sided, and Dabura absolutely demolished the strongest of the Rumelians, Durathough he chose not to hurt his face out of respect.

This was a small display of his power by Gege Akutami. Dura was quite powerful on its own, possibly on the level of a special grade sorcererbut Dabura killed him easily. Also, it was confirmed that he didn't even go all out in the battle, and that's because Dura was a close friend of his.

Dabura is a good-hearted Deskunte

His goal is to seek a new home without violence

Dabura can look like the evil antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulobut the fact is that he is actually a good-hearted man. Dabura was a friend of Dura, and he wanted to work with him towards his dream of becoming true neighbors. In the end he chose it leaving Simuria behind in search of a place where he would be truly acceptedand he chose to keep the promise to protect all the Simurians he gave to Dura.

Dabura does not want or seek violenceand what he wants is for people not to judge him for the way he looks, or the fact that he's an alien. In many ways, fans are quick to jump on board paint Dabura as an evil alien was Gege's way of proving the point that they are no different from other people, and that all they seek is peaceful coexistence with a friendly neighbor who accepts them.

Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended in late 2024, can be read online for free. It is available for access on Manga Plus, where this series used to be made available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which is featured in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9 will be released on November 2, 2025.
