Steel Ball Run Anime drops a massive update

Steel Ball Run Section 1 has finished audio production

  • Steel Ball Run was officially announced in 2025

  • Anime's release date is currently unknown

Yoshikazu Iwanami, the healthy director who worked on Steel Ball Run, shared an update on their X (formerly Twitter) account on anime. In the post he confirmed that the audio production for the first section of Steel Ball Run was completed. He also said that the concept behind the soundtrack was “Dance with steel ball run.” In the same post, Yoshikazu joked Iwanami about wanting to get an Emmy for best sound.

Steel Ball Run Anime has no release date yet, but it has not prevented the fans from speculating. They want anime as early as possible, but it is unlikely to happen. The studio wants to be thorough in its strategy so that viewers can enjoy a high quality adaptation. Given that David Production only announced anime a few months ago, it is likely that Steel Ball Run -Anime will not be released until 2027.

Jojo fans should mark their calendars for September 26 because it is when new hello is shared. The studio is likely to share a new trailer for anime to give the fans an idea of what they can expect. So far, David Production has done a phenomenal job with all parts.

Netflix must change its strategy

Fans hopes that Netflix will take a different approach than it did with Stone Ocean. Anime was divided into several courses, which led to the sections being released in parties. This resulted in a serious counter -reaction from the fans, as they preferred a weekly edition. They had to wait for months for new episodes, which was frustrating. In addition, it led to a reduction in the fans' interest. Hopefully Netflix will change its strategy and return to a weekly edition.
