It's time to welcome not 1 but 2 new straw hats to the Elbafbågen

This article contains spoilers from the One Piece series.

One Piece is currently in the final saga, and fans know very well that in this particular part of the story, the biggest battles will finally unfold. Consequently, this means that the Straw Hat Pirates must be more ready than ever for greater threats. As it seems, some members of the Straw Hat Pirates are already strong enough to face powerful threats. Of course these include Luffy, Zoro and Sanji.

Zoro will no longer be the second strongest when this character joins the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece.

However, some other members are still weak, and this lowers the overall power level of the Straw Hat Pirates. thankfully, One Piece fans also know that there will be new additions to the crew in Final Saga, and that they will be powerful. Most recently, Oda has been ranting about Loki joining the Straw Hat Pirates, and he would be a welcome addition to the group. But, most fans fail to realize that in the Elbaf arc, fans will see the addition of not just one but two new Straw Hatsand it is very exciting.

The Straw Hat Crew is not complete yet

The Straw Hat Crew is not complete yet in one piece

  • Luffy wanted at least 10 crewmates

  • More Straw Hats will appear in the final saga

The Straw Hat Pirates are incredibly powerful right now. Led by Monkey D. Luffy, the Straw Hats currently consist of Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Nico Robin, Franky and of course Brook. In the new world they were joined by Jinbe and there will be more additions to the crew as well. While some fans claim that the Straw Hat Pirates are already complete, the fact is that Oda himself prepared 10 members under Luffy when he began this journey. Luffy also said that, if he doesn't count himself, there are 10 people he would like to have in the crew, at least.

The phrase “at least” is incredibly important here. Although there will be at least 10 members under Luffy, there could be even more, and that's what makes the final saga as exciting as it is. One thing that fans can say for sure, however, is that the Straw Hat crew is far from complete and that more members will be joining at some point, possibly even in the Elbaf arc.

First of all, I need to get my own crew. I think at least 10 members should be fine. And I also need a pirate flag. Watch out world, here I come! I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm the man who will be King of the Pirates! — Monkey D. Luffy after looking out on his journey in One Piece.

As it stands, the first member to join the Final Saga will be Loki. The Cursed Prince of Elbaf was properly introduced to fans in the series' Elbaf arc, and he has already impressed many with his incredible character writing, but also his immense strength.

The last two Straw Hats will be Loki and Ragnir

  • Ragnir has immense powers

  • The Straw Hats will get another pet

That Loki is a Straw Hat shouldn't come as a surprise to any fan. To begin with, Loki is unwanted in Elbaf. The whole country hates him and at the same time the fans also know very well that Luffy enjoys his presence quite a bit. Even though all of Elbaf had bad things to say about Loki, Luffy still trusted him easily and even spent time with him carefree in the country's underworld.

But most importantly Luffy could even see that Loki has a kind heart. Luffy's observation Haki helps him tell people's true nature much better than some others. Rayleigh clearly mentioned it in One Piece Chapter 895 that Luffy is particularly attuned to people's true feelings. At the same time, the fans know it very well Luffy invited Loki to join the crew before the Elbaf flashback began.

I am the sun god inscribed in the legends of this land. You will not talk to me without permission, human. I consider myself the strongest living in the lands. This is the land of war, the violent kingdom of Elbaf. The most powerful nation in the world that once lived and breathed warfare. And I am the sun god who brings the world to an end, Loki! — Loki presents himself in the Elbafbågen.

As such, there is already a basis for Loki to join the Straw Hat Pirates. Of course, one absolutely cannot forget that Loki turned down Luffy's offer to join the Straw Hat Pirates. However, it means little since Loki was unaware that Luffy is Nika. Loki wants to follow the sun god, and once the arc is over, he can easily change his mind and follow Luffy. Loki will be the first Straw Hat in the Final Saga.

Say hello to the new legendary Devil Fruit User Of The Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece

The Straw Hat Pirates are strong, and a new member has a legendary Devil Fruit in One Piece.

While Loki is the first Straw Hat in the final segment of the story, fans may be confused as to who the other will be. The answer is none other than Ragnir. Until now, Ragnir was only seen as Loki's trusted warhammer weapon. Now, it has been confirmed in One Piece chapter 1170 that Ragnir is actually a hammer that has eaten a devil fruit and is fully alive. Ragnir is even a fighter in his own right and can take on enemies stronger than Yonko Commanders and potentially even protect himself against the likes of Yonko and Admirals of the One Piece world, such is its strength.

Based on all characteristics, Ragnir must be classed as a straw hat of his ownthough it is an ally of Loki and fights by his side. This is similar to how Karoo is always next to Vivi, but is classed as a straw hat of its own. Ragnir joining the crew would give them a great strength that they desperately need at this point, but also a fun animal that would serve a great purpose when it comes to light moments on the ship between different islands.

Ragnir would serve as the next Straw Hat mascot

Ragnir becoming the 11th Straw Hat under Luffy would be incredibly exciting in many ways. First, fans know that Ragnir has guarded the legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf for many years, which means it must also have some sort of connection to the sun god Nika. Once Ragnir sees Nika, an exciting dynamic between them can kickstart.

More than that, Oda could use Ragnir as a mascot for the Straw Hat Pirates. Fans are well aware that Oda made Chopper One Piece's mascot, but with the addition of Ragnir, it could be another one. This would give the Straw Hat Pirates two mascots, both incredibly cute in different ways, and it would help One Piece sell more merch. This is something Oda would definitely love, and fans absolutely can't wait to see Ragnir join the crew.

Ragnir's inclusion in the Straw Hat Pirates is likely to happen, but it may fall apart because, at the end of the day, Loki could simply choose to go his own way and not side with Luffy. Yet, at this particular time, Loki and Ragnir are the two most likely Straw Hats to join Luffy at the end of this arc.
