It's time to welcome Naruto Uzumaki's perfect successor as the next Hokage

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has recently begun its new arc, and along with incredible battles already on the cards, fans also know that the franchise will also provide readers with an interesting political conflict. While politics in the world of Naruto isn't necessarily what fans care much about, it's an absolutely huge part of the world, especially in Kishimoto's original series. In Boruto, the focus on politics isn't as heavy, but the last few chapters have certainly brought some attention to the biggest issue facing Konoha right now, and that is not having a real Hokage.

As fans know, Naruto Uzumaki was the Seventh Hokage of Konoha, but he was sealed away by Kawaki while the world believes him to be dead. In the meantime, Shikamaru has refused to take the position of Hokage officiallyand remains interim. But now, with Shikamaru as a potential traitor to the village, a new Hokage may soon be installedand that is who many would consider the perfect replacement for Naruto Uzumaki, Konohamaru Sarutobi. Although he has been a little disappointed Borutoa few good displays will remind the fans of that Konohamaru is Naruto's very own protégé and the man who wants to be the next Hokage.

Konoha could get a new Hokage to succeed Naruto Uzumaki

In the last chapter of Boruto, fans clearly saw that Konohamaru Sarutobi was interrogated by the village Daimyo and Elders for collaborating with Boruto Uzumaki, who they consider to be the biggest threat to the village. But the biggest suspect for them is Shikamaru Nara.

With that in mind Shikamaru never really took the position of Hokage Anyway, Konoha isn't making enough off of him, and they might as well throw him in jail for teaming up with Boruto. In other words, the village will soon need a new Hokage, and the person set to be Hokage right now is Konohamaru Sarutobi.

He has already served as one of the strongest Jonin the village has. On top of that, Konohamaru was personally appointed by Kishimoto to be the next Hokage long ago. While Sarada will eventually take the position, she is too young to lead the village right now. It has to be someone with a lot more experience, and the only suitable Jonin right now is Konohamaru.

Konohamaru needs bigger moments of glory soon

Of course, making Konohamaru a Jonin comes with its own problems. He is not strong enough at the moment to be a respected Hokage in the village, and so far he has been a big disappointment. Like I said, he's stronger than. Shikamaru at least. On top of that, Konohamaru might get a power-up soon and if he does, that's all it takes to make him a worthy Hokage.

The fans mustn't forget that Konohamaru turned his gaze to the Hokage's position when he was little. He idolizes Naruto Uzumaki and he wants to live up to the expectations of everyone around him. If he becomes the next Hokage then it would be the perfect opportunity for him to rise to the occasion and prove everyone wrong by leading from the front.

Sarada takes over from Konohamaru

Eventually, Sarada Uchiha must become Hokage in Boruto. She's very young right now so she can't take this position, but in a few years, closer to the end of the Boruto series, she will definitely be the first Uchiha Hokage that Konoha has ever had. For now though Sarada needs to grow moreboth in terms of power and experience.
