Eiichiro Oda has made it a habit now to take a break after every two or three chaptersand since the last stretch fans have had 3 major chapters, a break week was always next, and fans weren't surprised to see that confirmed.
One Piece Chapter 1168 was officially released today, and its conclusion saw the Elbaf flashback reach its climax, something all fans have been desperately waiting for. This chapter marks the beginning of One Piece's recent two-week hiatus.
Unfortunately, fans will have to say goodbye to One Piece on December 7, as Oda takes time to recover and plan what comes next.
