Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga is a very exciting sequel series created by Gege Akutami, after the end of the original series. For the most part, this manga doesn't focus on old characters. Instead, the story takes place 68 years into the future.
In that sense, The original cast of Jujutsu Kaisen has either died or gotten too old to be a big part of the story. Despite the absence of his old characters, Gege has managed to weave a very compelling new character into the story. While Gege hasn't brought back the vast majority of old characters, Yuji Itadori is involved in the story of Modulo.
It was recently revealed Yuji Itadori disappeared quite a few years ago. This revelation followed after it was revealed that he no longer ages. The reason why this is so is unknown, but it has caused him a lot of anxiety.
In recent years, Yuji has had to watch his friends die one by one. This burden of loss became too much for him to bear and he decided to simply leave his old life behind. Yuji is currently in Tokyo trying to stop the fights
After a very long absence from the story, Yuji Itadori has finally made an official return in the current Modulo timeline. Yuji Itadori specifically reappeared in Tokyo in the latest chapter 19 of the manga. Of course, fans were happy to see Yuji return, and most people are happy to see their beloved hero from Shinjuku come back again. However, fans have yet to see his full face after his return.
Yuji is definitely a character that was slow to grow for much of the original series, despite being its main character. Until the last arc, Yuji didn't get many power-ups, but now things are different. Yuji Itadori has resurfaced stronger than ever, and his latest abilities clearly show that. In fact, with its debut alone, Yuji demonstrated his latest power-up. His display will only get better in Modulo, and his overall character will certainly benefit from this return.

With Convergence, Yuji quickly takes over a building full of wizards
Yuji Itadori hasn't always been the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen. After all, before the Sukuna battle, Yuji was actually quite underwhelming in battle, especially compared to other talented wizards around him, like Yuta Okkotsu or Maki Zenin.
However, during the Sukuna battle, Yuji unlocked much more of his potential. That being said, Yuji's level then is nothing compared to where he is now. In Modulo, after Yuji's return, Gege was quick to show off how much he has grown in power.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 19, Yuji showed how he has become the greatest user of blood manipulation in all of history. With his Piercing Blood, an ability specifically used by his older brother Choso, Yuji was able to take down an entire building filled with wizards and Simurians.
68 years after Gojo's fall, Gege Akutami confirms the new strongest wizard in Jujutsu Kaisen
Gojo was Japan's strongest sorcerer, but that's not the case anymore. Japan has a new number 1 in JJK Modulo.
For those who don't know, using Piercing Blood requires using Convergence, but Yuji couldn't do that in the Shinjuku arc. As such, Choso had to create convergence for him to use the power. Now, however, Yuji has not only mastered the power, but developed it.
While most of the time, a skilled user of Piercing Blood can only use up to three arrows at once, following a trajectory, Yuji produced countless arrows easily, each following a unique trajectorysubjugate an entire building of wizards in a single move.
Undoubtedly, this is the greatest feat achieved through Blood Manipulation in JJKand this is Yuji far from his full power. Fans have only seen a small glimpse of what he can really do at the moment.

Yuji must fight Dabura and save Yuka Okkotsu
Yuji Itadori has not returned for no reason in Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo. Primarily, Gege Akutami has brought him back to help humans fight the current existential threat they face. As fans who have been following Modulo know, Japan is facing a major crisis as aliens known as the Simurians want to settle in Tokyo and completely ban the exorcism of Cursed Spirits, which absolutely cannot be allowed.
While the discussions at one point went smoothly, a conflict erupted after Cross was shot, and the battle between the strongest began to see which side would take over Tokyo. Dabura is the strongest and leader of the Simurians. Against him, humanity had to pull out its trump card, and that was Yuka Okkotsu. Yuka called Mahoraga, but it is clear now that Mahoraga is not enough. Dabura will soon surpass Mahoraga and destroy him.
With that, it seems that Yuka's death is inevitable, but that's where Yuji steps in. Yuji Itadori will be the one to save not only Yuka, but all of humanity. Meanwhile, Yuji is also likely to broker a peace with the Simurians, and in doing so, Gege sets up the biggest fight yet in the Jujutsu Kaisen.
Through this battle between Yuji and Dabura, it is possible that he will be able to achieve his ultimate goal, which is to die surrounded by those he loves – something he could not achieve due to his odd immortality. Fans absolutely cannot wait to see where Gege takes Yuji's character next.
