Isla Fisher makes shock move after split as she ‘ditches Australia for the UK’

Isla Fisher is already embracing a big change following her split from Sacha Baron Cohen, and it’s starting at home.

Fisher, who currently resides in Australia, is believed to be preparing to leave his home country for new beginnings in the UK.

According to an insider, Fisher is currently looking for a house in London and has a not too shabby budget of around $13 million.

A source close to Fisher told the Daily Mail: “It’s all about the children and what’s best for them; There doesn’t seem to be any drama. Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now be based in London. But Isla will keep her place in Australia”.

Fisher was photographed in Hampstead, north London, last month. She is currently still in town, as she is busy filming the new one Bridget Jones Continuation.

Fisher and British star Baron Cohen, 52, announced their split earlier this year, revealing in corresponding statements that they had quietly ended their marriage after nearly 13 years.

The former couple, who have three children – daughters Olive, 17, and Elula, 13, and son Montgomery, nine – shared the sad news alongside a photo of themselves in tennis clothes and holding rackets .

“After a long game of tennis that lasted over twenty years, we finally put down our rackets,” the caption reads.

“In 2023 we jointly asked to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working on this change.

“We will forever share our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respect of our family’s desire for privacy.

Baron Cohen and Fisher first met in 2001 and married in an intimate ceremony in Paris in 2010.

They were long considered one of Hollywood’s strongest marriages, but following their split, insiders said the relationship had been “shaky” in recent years.

According to Daily emailthe family’s decision to move back from Los Angeles to Fisher’s hometown of Perth amid the pandemic in 2021 had taken a toll on the couple, with Baron Cohen reportedly finding it “difficult” to adjust.

Despite their split, the couple are believed to remain on friendly terms and intend to stay together so they can co-parent their young children.
