The Keeping Balance on the Wind challenge i Crimson Desert asks the players to do a very specific thing: walk 10 meters on a rope. What the game doesn't say is that this challenge doesn't require a rope at all. Anything that causes your character to do a small balancing act counts as a rope for this, and there are plenty of items in there Crimson Desert which will force you to do exactly that.
Crimson Desert: How to Solve Abyss Without Balance Puzzle (Unlock Wings)
Abyss Without Balance is one of the early missions in Crimson Desert that will require players to solve a puzzle with Abyss Cells to unlock wings.
How to open The Keeping Balance Sealed Artifact in Crimson Desert
The best way to finish this challenge is to find a ledge or roof that is at least 10 meters long. All the large mansions around Hernand should be enough for this, but there is one thing you need to keep in mind: you must walk 10 full meters straight without falling. Going back and forth doesn't work, and it seems moving from one ledge to another doesn't count either.
In our case, we used the roof of one of the sheds in the area marked on the map above. Just climb onto the roof, get to the top ridge, and then walk from one end to the other. There are many more roofs of the same length as this, and you don't necessarily have to go for the one shown above. The roof here just happened to be near one of the main missions where you head to a healer's house and rescue someone stuck in a burning house.
Technically, you can also do this challenge by chopping down a tree and walking along the fallen trunk. But the real challenge lies in finding a tree tall enough to make a 10 meter long bridge for the sake of the challenge.
What is inside the sealed Abyssal Artifact?
All Sealed Abyss Artifacts reward players with a normal Abyss Artifact. These are used to unlock skills Crimson Desert. The more you level up a skill, the more Abyss Artifacts it will require, so you want to collect as many of them as possible.
Abyss Artifacts have all the challenges attached to themand while some are more straightforward (like hitting enemies 30 times within 30 seconds with a spear), others are much like the Keeping the Balance on the Wind challenge, where you have to traverse a certain distance in a certain way. In any case, players need to be creative when approaching these challenges, such as some of them are quite lenient in fulfilling the conditions they have set.
Get more sealed Abyss artifacts
When using Blinding Flash, you will occasionally see flashes of light. These often lead to Abyss Cressets or Sealed Abyss Artifacts. The former can be used as fast travel points in Crimson Desert, while the latter are simply crates you need to unlock via challenges.
Sealed Abyss artifacts can be difficult to spot at a glance, but when you get close to one, you will see a purple icon appear on your minimap. The artifacts are usually found at small shrines of varying shapes and sizes, although there are plenty just lying around roadsides.
