Set bonuses Nioh 3 are special effects that can only be triggered by wearing a certain number of items in an armor set. The more items a player wears, the higher the number of set bonuses that are activated.
Unfortunately, confusing menus make it a bit tricky to find the right key binding and buttons you need to press to see the set bonuses for your equipped sets. This guide describes how to reveal set bonuses for all items in your inventory.

-

-
Go to the Equipment or Items tab.

On the bonus stat screen, you can also see the names of all other armor and weapon pieces in that set. Fixed parts that are equipped will be white, while those that are not equipped will be gray. Likewise, the set bonuses that are active will be highlighted in white, while the rest will remain gray.
Most armor and weapons in Nioh 3 is not part of a set and therefore does not have an associated set bonus. Only armor and weapons that have a white link icon in the item selector are part of a set.
Like equipment, special effects granted by set bonuses have stat requirements for activation. If your character stats do not meet the minimum stat requirements for a set, the set bonuses will not take effect, regardless of how many of the set games you have equipped. You can check the activation requirements under the set bonuses.
In the screenshot shown above, for example, the activation requirement for the Crimson General's Set is 6 Stamina and 5 Strength. If the activation indicator is blue, it means you meet the requirement, but if it is red, it means you are still short.
Respects in Nioh 3 is free. If you don't meet the stat requirements for a certain set of bonuses, don't hesitate to reset your character's stats to match.
